Do you prefer to live in a small town or a big city? Different people hold different opinion. In my point of view, I definitely prefer to live in a big city. When I refer to big city I’ll always feel excited, a series of modern and beautiful pictures about big city appear in my head.

First of all, there is more information in a big city than in a small town, and it will bring us many opportunities for career development. Nowadays with the development of internet and other communicational application, information era is coming. More and more people are realizing what the importance of information is. If we live a big city, we can easily obtain many useful information to get more chance for job. There are more companies in a big city, we also have more choice about job. For example, the P&G company often stands in a big city, they recruit many employees with different specialty every year. So it provides us an chance to join in and exert ability. More information and more opportunity, therefore living in a big city is a correct choice for our future career.

Furthermore, transportation in a big city is more advanced than in a small town, it bring us convenience and efficiency. In modern city, we have many transportation, like bus, subway, and highway. Especially the subway, it always come punctually and never stop for a traffic jam. But if we live in a small town, the condition is different. We know that there are always country roads in rural areas, sometimes we have to walk along the road because there is no transportation there. For instance, there are many poor rural areas in Sichuan province in China, there is even no bus and train because of high mountain, students have to walk for 20km go to school everyday. They have to spend many hours on walking, so they expect modern transportation urgently. Now we can see how important transportation is.

Last but not least, education in a big city is better than in a small town. Now many parents expect their children study in a big city because there are more universities there. Many professional teachers also like to stay in a big city for nice working environment. Therefore good university with excellent education quality and professional teachers always stays in a big city. For example, in China, Beijing is one of the most biggest cities, it has many famous universities in whole country, such as Tstinghua university and Perking university, which have many professional scientists and researchers there. So in order to accept better education we had better live in a bid city.

In sum, taking into account these factors discussed above, we can see that living in a big city has many advantages, which are very important for our social life and future. So living in a big city is a wise choice.
