Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? People benefit more from travelling in their own country than travelling in a foreign country.

Historically speaking, travelling was served for economic and politic purpose. Nowadays, the drives of tour were focused on culture and education which is a magic to fulfill human’s natural desire of exploration, to enrich our knowledge and to touch exotic norms and value. Both travelling abroad and domestically bring such advantage, however, where people can benefit more? As to most Chinese, home trip is with more value from my view.

Firstly, travelling in own country could provide knowledge and culture extension for common Chinese. China possesses 56 nations and history of development more than 5,000 years. Even if spending our whole life touch different custom and dig the fortune in the past days by taking a visit across the country, nobody can learn China completely. Though travelling in other country is a wonderful experience to feel exotic civilization, why don’t we start to take good use of the tremendous resource of tour to learn more about our own culture and history first?

Additionally, China has expansive domain with almost all nature scenery so that people could enjoy desert, mountain, forest, plain and ocean without flying oversea. Furthermore, it is doubtless that the cost of domestic tour is emphatic lower than that on travelling abroad. One of my friends spent his last winter vocation with parents to Japan for snow view of Fuji Mountain and the cost of that trip is over 30,000RMB. He expressed his disappointment to me that it fails to match the snow scenery in Northeast of China. Therefore, it is much worthier for us to travel home than visiting another country with same cost.

Finally, safety and communication are other 2 elements illustrate tour in own country is better. When people go to a strange country with extremely different belief and custom, their behaviors are probably to offend local people that might lead to misunderstanding even violent issue. What’s more, communication might be hard to get since language obstacle. Both them could trap the tourist in trouble. In contrast, travelling in mother country provides more guarantee on the two aspects.

In short, whether your destination of the tour is other place in own country or some area oversea, you will achieve a lot from the travelling. And I support Chinese can benefit more from domestic visit.

lz的语言功底真的很强大，读你的文章感觉不像是作文像范文额，我这个小虾米不才只找出了一点点语法上的小瑕疵，理由很多很强大，不过只有一个分论点做了具体阐释，如果可以丰富下其他就更好了，不过那样要求好高啊，我能达到lz这样的水平我就烧香了额。。。什么时候写作文再给我膜拜下哈~嘻嘻:p
