你认为获得真实的新闻应该是从报纸还是电视
16:12-52
Which is a better way to obtain the most authentic news reports, by reading newspaper or through the TV? This is issue is so complex that it has aroused a fierce debate in the society. While some may prefer newspaper, reasoning that medium of this form has a relatively long history, others tend to hold a view that it is TV that could provide people with the latest and most reliable source of news. At first glance, both arguments seem to be somewhat convincing; after carefully weighing in my mind, I would like to assert that TV is superior to newspaper for modern people to get know about the real aspect of news and to catch up to the world trend.
To begin with, equipped with new technology that is being renewed almost every second, TV can show people a vivid and active scenario, with high-quality scene and dramatic sound. And that could bring the spectators in front of the TV a feeling as if they were at the spot where the news happens, which is obviously unavailable from the newspaper.
Take Olympic Games for example: when the final result of a fierce competition comes out, with the cheers and applaud saturating the gym, the TV audiences are always so excited that they jump up from sofa and cheer up loudly, even ignoring the spanning beer at their feet. Yet newspaper readers will never experience amazement of this sort simply due to the tedious and single-colored words.

Another interesting point worthy our attention is that the only form to report a news in a piece of newspaper is paragraphs of words and maybe with several pictures which scratch up few and static states of a scene, so how could the readers tell whether the aspect of news is objective or not. Since the news is written by people, it is unavoidable that the news is mixed with some personal emotion. As a result, such mode of reporting news will surely exert influence on the readers, more or less. On the contrast, TV programs with the most authentic and latest video records are the most strong and believable source of news for modern people.
All in all, I would like to assert that although any form of media could give people access to real news happening all over the world, TV is undoubtedly a better form, in a violent contrast with the monotonous newspaper. Because TV could provide the audiences with the latest and most reliable news by means of words, vivid scene and clear sound.

关于开头段:以前我也尝试过这样写开头,把a观点阐述下,在阐述b,然后说我自己比较支持XXX,这样写,开头段会很长。后来看到一些书上说开头不要写过长,最好开门见山。不知这位托友怎么看?
