你认为获得真实的新闻应该是从报纸还是电视

The issue which provides us with the true news, TV or newspaper, has generated a heated debate. The proponents claim that it is the newspaper that informs us of something really true everyday. As far as I am concerned, contrary to the opinion of those people, I believe that we would know the truth of events that just happened around the world through programs on TV. My point of view can be greatly substantiated by the reasons addressed below.

Initially, TV enables us to get the newest information faster than newspaper. All too often we observe that after an event happened, the reporters of various TV stations will rush to the spot to give a live report about it. The report will be broadcasted through radio and presented to the audience on TV. People can watch TV to get to know the latest progress from screen. By contrast, coming to the newspaper, the situation will change. If somebody depends on newspaper, he has to wait until the next day to read the reports written by journalists of different newspapers. He is several hours behind those who resort to TV.

It constitutes another cause for my argument that events are reported in an objective and direct way. Through TV, a person can see pictures of the spot and hear the sound from it. The reporter only gives a few introductive words instead of comments. It is the individual who is in front of the TV that makes the comments based on the information he just received. On the contrary, newspaper articles are always written by someone in a personal perspective. The author will make his own judgment from his standpoint. It will more or less affect the judgment of the readers. In many cases, some readers would be misled from truth.
  
An equally essential factor which braces my point is that TV displays in an active and easy way. The information conveyed by TV reaches both our eyes and ears. It is much more active than thousands of letters printed on a newspaper. According to a recent survey conducted by researchers of Peking University, it is obvious that people gain information more efficiently when they are watching images and hearing messages related to the images at the same time. So it is more efficient to watch TV than to read newspapers. On the other hand, if someone who is blind or not educated, he is not able to read the articles in the newspapers. However they can keep themselves up to date through TV.

In summary, due to the above-mentioned reasons which always correlate with each other to generate a comprehensive conclusion, we are comfortable to believe that people get familiar with the true news through programs on TV.

总的来说，论证的方法很好很全面，语言到位，但就是有偏题的嫌疑。
真实性，这个主题不常写，有点偏题其实也是可以理解的，但要注意把你已知的东西跟主题搞成必然联系。
