Are most businesspeople only motivated by desire of money? There are thousands Hamlets in thousands people’s eyes. Some people who advocate that the aims of most businesspeople are money. However, in my opinion, most businesspeople seek reputation, status and respect rather than money.

First of all, most businesspeople pay attention to their reputation that they give priority to the rights and benefits of their customers. Businessmen earning money by playing tricks on customers or making profits out of dishonesty cannot remain successful, they are never far away from their destuction. To thrive in the firece market competition, a company should always try to produce high-qulity products and provide good, honest service to its customers.

Furthermore, the respects from their workers. When a businessman make a large profit, he should share it with all who have worked hard to make the profit possible. Trust and fidelity from the worker are essential to the very survival company. There is a failure example, ABS company, once the most famous video-produced company, the businessman of the company ignored that business is a teamwork. As a consequence, workers could not get what they deserves either economically or mentally they had job-hopping to the rival company. So ABS compay was defeated by its rival.

Finally, in order to lift to a new height, most businessmen donate a huge sum to a charity. Some part of the profits a business earns from the communty should be returned to the community. In other words, part of profits should be allocated to serve the supportive community. Shao Yifu, the CEO of TVB, provides financial aids to universities and builds several hope primary schools. He awarded respect from most Chinese people.

Generally, it can be said that an ultimate objective for a businessman is to make profits, but a business not only motivated by money. Businesspeople do their part to contribute to the welfare of the group to get more things rather than money.
