ISSUE13
many of the world's lesser-known languages are being lost as fewer and fewer people speak them. The governments of countries in which these languages are spoken should act to prevent such languages from becoming extinct.

When McDonald’s, KFC and Starbucks occupy a central position in people’s daily dietetic habits, when Nike Addidas and Converse become a prevailing fashion standard in people’s daily apparel choices, and when Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Snoopy play more and more important role in taking places of local culture, we should understand the pressure that it is the moment to emphasize the importance of preventing the local culture especially languages from becoming extinct. The governments should be the primary powers to protect their own civilization.

To begin with, why should we prevent our hometown’s language from extinct? There are three reasons to answer this question. Firstly, the words of the language own are a precious legacy which is bequeathed from our ancestors. These strange denotations reflect the visions which are in our ancestors’ eyes especially in point of pictograph. Studying these languages can help us understand the ancestors’ essential secrets like how do they work and live in the forest. Secondly, the sound of the language is a string of dainty notes in a song. Different language has its own different pronunciations; however, the unique uniformity is that they all sounded melodious. The language arouses people’s homesick sense of belonging especially when they are far away from their homeland. The last and the most important is that the language conveys the wisdom of their own countries. A mass of books and articles containing profound philosophies are written in the languages of their own countries. The translator will tell us to understand the essential value of the books we should understand the language of the book.

Then why should the governments of countries in which these languages are spoken should be the primary powers to prevent the language from being extinct? The reason is that firstly the governments represent their own nations and they have the responsibility to protect their cultures including their languages. Secondly, the government has the ability which the individuals don’t have to collect the whole country’s resource to be used into the act protecting the language. Just thinking about how the city New Orleans recovered after Hurricane Katrina’s attack, we will pretty sure that it is possible to be successful in protecting our own languages with the help from the governments.

To sum up, every culture’s own language is so important to the civilization of human beings that we cannot ignore the truth that some languages are going to be extinct and pretend there is nothing taking place. Every person especially the government has the responsibility to protect the language and to make a contribution to take participates in these acts in order to stop the language from being extinct.

语言方面也基本没有什么错;
不足的可能主要是字数方面不够
