题目：ISSUE127 - "Facts are stubborn things. They cannot be altered by our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions."
Weather the facts can be altered by our wishes; our inclinations or the dictates of our passions? The author gave a negative response. By and all I agree with the author but not entirely, because in same times, in front of a certain issue different people may hold various ideas and what is more the subjective view point of us can impact the development of the current issue.


First of all it is a common sense that the fact including the history and the phenomenon occurred in our present society can not be altered by everything not only our wishes; inclinations and the dictates of our passions. The main reason of this is the one dimensional prosperity of the time. In the history river people have attempted to alter the facts. What they did in the first step is to reverse the time to where the thing was occurred, as a result they tried to invent a kind of machine called 'time machine'. Without doubt they failed, as a result the 'time machine' appeared in numerous legends and dramas. This example vividly illustrated that the time is one dimensional and can not be reversed by any power within the control of human beings, and at the same time the facts can not be altered by any strive of our human let along our wishes; our inclinations and the dictates of our passions.

But we have to admit that in front of some situations different people have different feeling and reaction. The reason of this phenomenon is people have various educational background and different growing environment. When an old grave was discovered the first response of the people who's major is archeology may be to identify the host and the time of it, which will contribute to recover a certain stage of history which beyond the human reach presently; while the first response of people who's major is art may concern with the artifacts involved in it and research the artistic achievement and style of that time; people with the economics back ground will concern weather this discovery may contribute to the development of local economy. Some people may crime a commit with the thought that it is the unbalance distribution of the society which lead them to transgress the legist elation, while the average people may think it is through hard work can one get much reward and the poor can not attribute their doom to the unbalance distribution of the society.


In the progress of an issue our feelings and attitudes can impact or even determine the development of it. People conduct any deed based on their subjective judgments. While the attitude and feelings can determine those judgments. Without the judgments that the human should have the same right, Martine Luther King will not lead the liberty movement for the black people; if not the attitude that it is a good choice to develop capitalism in the United States Abraham Lincoln would not initiate the inner war of America. All those famous events in the history reflected that it is the judgments which determined the development of our factual world and it is the attitude of wishes of our human beings which determined our judgments. As a result it is safely to conclude that in some times our attitude can change or even determine the development of the happening facts.

As all discussed above, the author unfairly asserted that the facts are stubborn things which can not be altered by our wishes; inclinations and dictates of passions. It is true people can not change what happened, but the judgments of human can alter the issues in the progress. At the same time we can not neglect that different people may have different attitude toward a same issue.
