Education,
as the most significant method to maintain and evaluate the culture and knowledge of human beings, from ancient age to modern society, calls for both the diversity of knowledge and the initiative as well as willing to specify in knowledge of people who choose it. Considering what is the most essential presented above and what I am arguing below, I agree with the speaker insofar, in my opinion, some major subjects skills which are basic and important in everyday life is necessary, while the exact same national curriculum is harmful to the diversity of knowledge and can never be successfully designed.


To begin with, in this rapid developing age, knowledge refresh every day, it is impossible for a single person even the most brilliant one to compromise all knowledge. To choose an area to be specified with initiative and interests might be a smarter and more grounded way, which is also the reason why students choose their majors in college instead of learning the same curriculum. On this purpose, requiring all students to study the same national curriculum before college is unwise and not quite useful. There are so many areas of knowledge that it is
quite common that two areas do not share interdisciplinary skills. Just like musicians and accounts, not considering personal interests and decency, it is totally useless for an account spent lots of time trying to figure out acoustic beauty and score skills. Nevertheless, over specification is not meaningful to personal self-process, it is important for people to care about areas outside their own, but not in the way through which they learn the same national curriculum regardless personal interests and willing to be imposed what might be useless in their future lives.


In one hand, the diversity of culture and geo-circumstances of the whole country limit the possibility of designing the same national curriculum. Different conditions of climate, financial, religions and history lead to different fittest curriculum for each school.
Without the humid and high precipitation climate environment, it is not possible for both a school in arid area and a school in humid one share the same classes such as swimming, without the same financial condition of each schools, it is also impossible for both schools with sufficient financial donation and ones do not share same computer classes or golf classes. The best national curriculum should be designed to fit each cities' condition, while the diversity of historic, economical, and other physical and literate conditions limit the successful design and application of the national curriculum.


However, the intertwining of many areas is the trend turning to be more obvious with the boot of knowledge development. There are some skills which are important to each area should be taught to national students, considering this, in my opinion a nation should require a curriculum which is the most basic and useful and the requirement of application of this curriculum is tiny that most schools of the country can afford it. With this more basic and ground curriculum, schools in different area could attach their own class about their history, economy, religions and other epidemical conditions. And meet the demanding of basic knowledge in their future lives.

To sum up, it is unfair and impossible for the whole country to take the national curriculum, Not only because education should be encouraged to strengthen the diversity of knowledge, but also the rapid development force people to be more efficient in their area. While to be not fallen with the intertwining of different knowledge, basic skills and knowledge are also necessary to both academic extent and “I want to be a decent and skilled person” extent. So, in my opinion, the national curriculum designed for all students is unwise but the nation could and is necessary to design some classes which are necessary and can be applied in most areas of the country.
