With the development of our society, it is generalized advocated that our quality of instruction should be elevated, in order to realize it , the faculty should work in realisms relevant to the they teach. At the first glance,it seems reasonable and attractive since ,bur futher consideration reveals that it is impertinency and the target is hard to arrive at for the following reasons.
It is obvious that the proper positions left in community for the faculty will not satisfy them.
For one thing the people have been emplied by an institution,thus it is ridiculous and incredible to hunt for a new job to exercise themselves,for another thing, the pressure in search for a position have developed to a headache problem to the government and the young generations,so now that it is hard to find a job, let alone to keep a stable position for themselves.For instance, my friend Xiao wang is an excellent young man,that have made a large amount of conspicuous records and received many honors from his career,so he intended to elevate himself and apply higher position in this company by studing abroad for a half of year.His manager attempted to persuade him to stay temporarily since it was an speical period for their section and the technocrats like him was in urgent need for them to weather this crisis,however Xiaowang refused and left.
The conclusin was beyond his imagination, because his position was occupied by another people after he left, because the enperpriase could not always wait for him and the real facts reverse at any time without any forunner.
Inadditon, the theoretical knowledge teached at class sometimes bear little relation to the pragmatic life.For instance, some abstractive disciplines such as philosophy, religion,theoretical physics,and some fudamental reasearches are hard to find relevant occupations in society to match and to practice. There is a case in point, when my parents were young they have ever adovacate to give up the studying and joined in the construction of remote areas.As a matter of fact , it was a ridiculous determination of join in this campaign,for the knowledge they learned from class are little value to the practice,on the contrary, a large amount of they regernerated that this behavior brought devastating damage to their lifes. So it is dogmatical to call for the faculty in any area and disciplines to work outside of the academic realism and participate the social practices.
Admiteddly, the teachers that teaching practical courses that require experience are in need of seeking opportunities and taking part in exercise .however we should not call for a large number of our teachers to take this measure if were not necessary.
To summary, it is llogically weak and unbelievable to agree with the author for the reasons above unless the arguer interepret the possibility of all the faculty to seek a job in society and how to realize it? Then, show me whether all of the teachers need to do the thing or not. Only the problems were illustrated could this argument convince me easily. |
