In this issue ,the speaker holds the saying that education should meet the individual needs and interests of each one ,then it would be effective.Althogh the point has merit ,I still disagree with the speaker.

The definition of education is that ,which is the fundamental for society to make people be suitable for social life ;To teach people understand themselves ,the environment of community around them
,and to broaden the horizon of them.Furthermore,education is an approach to let people learn how to solve problems from their own knowledge compass.Nevertheless ,interests are a kind of individuals' perception from the enlightening of education .So the significance of education is not to meet the individual needs and interests of each student,instead ,to enlighten different people to their real needs.

In the first place,education is dominant by its pluralism methods and knowledge not to satisfy students’ interests and needs.Education is a bright light to guide people to their interests.In my view ,education just like a receptacle which is fraught with diverse interests and knowledge.For instance, a man who was eager to paint but he didn’t that before he has encounter the receptacle in which he could pick his interest.Therefore ,education’s significance would not be necessary in order to satisfy everyone’s interests and need ,but to provide more knowledge and information for those people who intend to seek their own predisposition.This is the real meaning of education .Respectively, Darwin comes to my mind immediatedly,he had a great passion for the nature exploring ,such interest resulting from when he was a student in Cambridge,and talking with some biological professors.Then he explorded in south America ,which incited him to create the great theory about envolution.His success absolutely is bred with his interest and endurance,instead ,his mayor and subjects that he was studying .However we could not say that Cambrige’s education was meaningfulless,at least, darwin gained the information,knowledge and enlightening from communication with those biological professors.

In the second place ,to make education meet each student’s need is not realistic unless elite education.However ,society is not consisted by elites,whereas,more people are commoners.So is this kind of education meaningful and fair to most people of society ?Of course not.What’s more ,government can not provide a large number of educational resource to meet everyone’s interest .Besides ,it is not necessary for most people that on one just lives on his or her interest forever,who must learn other existence craftsmanship,and only interest education is quite vapide for missing and omitting a lot of useful information.

In sum,education is ennobled for its pluralism and considerable amount of knowledge ,if the significance of education just meet
individuals’ needs and interests,who may miss a titanic ocean of knowledge .That would be a pity.
