TOPIC: ISSUE212 - "If a goal is worthy, then any means taken to attain it is justifiable."

Is it justifiable to use any method to attain a so-called worthy goal? For me, I strongly disagree with this kind of suggestion because it must be determined on a case-by-case basis.
Firstly, it is hard to define whether the goal is worth or worthless. For example, as we all know, the Olympic Game, one of the most famous activity in the world, to win it, every individual and group will try their utmost, because they think this goal is worthy. Moreover, many athletes devoted themselves to training at the risk of hurting themselves even their life, or they use drugs to win. The example above may be good for a nation's honor, but at the same time, it harm the emotion of other people and debate the sprite of the competition, and what's more, we can not mere describe this goal as a worthy thing.
Secondly, if the goal is support to be a valuable one. We should try our best to attain rather than use illegal means to win. Another example are apt to illustrate this view is followed. If we want to be a richer, we can earn much more money by working longer time, or searching another part-time, even buy the lottery if god bless us. Instead stealing other's money or selling drugs, if we do that, the police will invite us to have a cup of coffee. If we choose the first advice maybe we can win both money and fame, otherwise, we will lose everything besides a bad fame.
Finally, we should choose our goals. Only the suitable goal is the best one for us. For instance, Hitler thought conquer the whole world is suitable for his country so he use his power to create the World War one which caused homeless, kill and sorrow. The fact affirmed it is not a good goal for him and he won the bad fame. Ironically, if consider that he chose the opposite one, maybe he would win the Nobel Price of Peace.
In the final analysis, every coin has two sides, it is unreasonable to demand one assertion is perfect in every aspect. Undoubtedly, the discussion above are all based on my assumptions, and do not get ride of special cases. In a short, it is necessary for us to choose goal carefully and to attain it more considerable.
咋办呀,字数太少了阿,第一次用AWP3写,时间够呛的. |
