Will technologies change the world? Technologies have already change some of our customs and even ethics. But truthfully, technologies are just what people created to help people live better life, they are just tools, determine society is beyond its function.

First of all, as I concede, technologies have already give the world a overwhelming change in human customs. The development of Internet changes the consuming custom and communicating custom of people. More individuals choose to buy things on Internet, which seems more convenient and cheaper. Just by click the BUY NOW bottom and pay by credit card, the goods they choose will be just delivered in front of the door.

According to the recent survey, more than 80% adolescences choose to contact each other on Internet with various reasons such as 'he is always online' or 'when she is playing the computer, she can not here the phone'. And at the same time, because the technologies developed in architecture, people change their living customs from houses to sky-skcaping architecture. This phenomenon reveals the development of Internet as well as other technologies has change people's customs in some aspect.

And the changing in technology area has also influence social ethics. The traditional individuals can not take legally abortion and cloning into account.
But in nowadays society, because of the rapid development of technology, the number of women who choose abortion is less than before, just because the contraceptive method becomes more effective and with the technologies, it seems that women suffers less pain than before. The decrease of accidentally pregnant make the families more united and the technology of abortion also changes people's ethic thinking, even though some people still do not agree that women should abortion.

Further more, the technologies can not determine the living custom and ethic in the future. Technologies are only tools which scientists created to help people to live a better life. But the speaker turn over the function of technologies. Technology did not and will not change the traditional customs such as the get-together during the New Years Day, and it also did not change our basic ethic value, we did not change our own standard of ethic since the development of technology. And what technologies did not change is our faith: believe in ourselves, hard-working, being patience and loving the world. Anyway, it is an element in the society, but the real energy for us to keep going is deeply rooted in our hearts.

In sum, I concede that technology can serve people and it can even influence the lives, but it can not determine people's lives, we can believe in fate, but we can not imagine the future without faith.
