The human resources manager recommend that the board of directors of the Fancy Toy company should appoint Rosa to be the president in order to increase the company profits.To substantiate his suggestion, he cited some evidents.However, I don't agree with his recommend.
To begin with,the manager unfairly attibuted the reasons causing the company profit to fall considerably to the current president Pat Salvo, which ignored a host of other possible explanations.In reference to the globle economic environment, the decline in profit is mainly related to the fact that along with the recession of globle economy the concumers have not enough money to buy the products produced by the company.Also, It is possible that the country which most of the company's toys pour into is taking strict measures toprohibit  the input of toys to protect local toys industry.In this case, the current president may be a good leader ,without whom,the company may loss more profit.So lacking evidences to support the manager's idea the conclusion that the current is not qualified for the president of this company is unjustified.
In addition,the manager assumes that the president of starlight jewelry will be more competitive than the current president because the company he used to work for has seek more profits over the past several years.The argument is well presented but not well reasoned.Firstly, the company Rosa worked for is a jewelry company.It is possible that Rosa is good at selling the jewelry but has little about how to efficiently sell toys.Moreover, the start jewelry company's surprisingly increased profits is not depending on the ability of administration of Rosa but on the fact in recent years the value of the jewelry is highly appreciated by more and more people and so the price is up to high.
Besides, the three quarters of a year is too short to judge the condition accurately of one company.The manager may failed to consider the possible facts that the current president Pat is determined to enlarge the productive ability of the company so he set aside a lot of the profits to establish a new modern factory.Actually, the company is in good situation.
In conclusion, the human resource manager has not provided enough evidences to support his recommend that it is worthy to pay Rosa twice the salary because the board of the company can soon expect out profits to increase considerably.
