Both parents and communities must be involved in the local schools. Education is too important to leave solely to a group of professional educators.

For a child, who will be his or her educators? Are only the professional educators enough? Of course it is not. So, I agree with the speaker that both parents and communities should take part in the education.

Undoubtedly, that the professional educators play a chief role in the education, not only because they can impart the fundamental and advanced knowledge into students, which is one of the most vital objectives of the education, but also for that they have the teaching skills, which can make the education effective. An immediately scene comes into our sight, that is the classroom. In the classroom, teacher can make the rigid knowledge in the textbooks more vivid and accepted to the students, as a famous professor said (and I paraphrase): "the job of a teacher is to make the complex change into the easy, and not the opposite direction." Thus, with the help of the teachers, students can learn more quickly and correctly.

However, the function of parents in the education should not be neglected. On the one hand, cultivating a child does not begin from the time he or she enters into a school, but from the day he or she was born. That is why there is an old saying that "parents are the first teachers for a child". In addition, it is not only before a child enters into school, but also when a child studying in a school that the influence of parents on the child is extraordinarily significant for the reason that aside from school, students will take much time at home. On the other hand, the parents hold the legal authority to make some key decisions about what and how their child learn, such as choice of a school, curriculum and textbooks. All of these are parents' job or maybe called responsibility.

Moreover, the communities also should involve in the education, and cultivate children with local school together. The objective of education is not only to pour information, but also includes that make students can make what they learned in school into practice and contribute to the development of a society. In communities, students can encounter some practical problems, which are maybe only they can meet on some books in school. Also, in community activities, student can own many opportunities to collaborate with others, and such consciousness of cooperation is very in the modern society. For example, some difficult tasks in the present require a team to work out, not only an individual can be enough.

To sum up, a mission of cultivating a child is not the specialized educators' own, but need both parents and communities to involve in too. Without parent’s participation, the education will not be integrity, and without communities, so the consequence would be.
