核心:不同意only

1.        教育的作用,提高每个人的素质,提供个人发展所需要的知识和技能。以满足个人需要和兴趣为出发的教育是有效的,但是单纯的这样的教育会使得受教者的视野变窄和知识结构不合理,是片面的;而且教育还应该满足社会对于个体的要求。
2.        满足个人兴趣的教育是高效的。例子:正反对比,钢琴,篮球。
3.        不仅要顾及个人的兴趣,还需要满足社会对于每一个个体的需要。例子:紧急救助的技能,士兵的培养。
4.        在基础教育中,丰富的大量的学科知识should be provided,从而给个人的发展打下基础,同时丰富的知识面可培养个人的兴趣。例子:竞赛的反面例子。
5.        高等教育要根据人的知识结构和兴趣。
6.        在现代,教育资源有限,基础教育以广为主,高等教育满足个人的兴趣,达到合理的最佳的配置+总结。

The aim of education is to improve quality of every individual, to provide useful knowledge and skill to everyone for their career, then, with the improvement of everyone's capability in society, the whole society will develop rapidly and steadily. The education designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student is effective, but, education ONLY meeting the individual needs and interests is one-sided/unilateral, it will bring a narrow ken and an illogical knowledge structure to every individual and also an inharmonic development to the society.

The education meeting individual interests of each student is effective. It is the individual interest that drives a student to learn something from the bottom of his heart. Take myself as an example, when I was about ten years old, my parents make me learn playing piano. I have to practise two hours a day, but at that time, I was not interested in playing a musical instrument at all, then after learning and practice about half a year, the level of my playing skill raised little and I decided to give up learning of piano. By contrast with piano learning, I was very interested in playing basketball at that time, I watched the NBA games twice a week and I took Michael Jordan as my hero. Then I joined a training camp and became the captain of our team soon, also, my skill of basketball increased a lot in a couple of months.

Education should be designed to meet the needs of the society besides the interests of each student. Everybody is living in the society, the development/progress of an individual will be influenced by the society, so the knowledge and skill one should mastery must include that needed in the social life. For instance, the skill for fast aid should be learned for every one. This skill may not lie in one's interests and it may not be needed by one because it is a skill that helps others, but it is useful in our society and when you are injured in an accident, it will help to save your life. Another instance is the education about the national defense, this knowledge may not be useful for one's needs and interests, but if war break out, it will be very useful for every one to protect himself and to defend his homeland.

In elementary education, knowledge of all subjects should be provided to every student to extend the ken of one's knowledge. The extension of one's ken will improve his individual quality, and one's interests can be formed/brought up at this time. A subject preference/ leaning in learning may cause an improper development of one's life. A classmate of mine in high school was crazy of computer programming, and he spent a lot of his time programming and spent little time on learning of other subjects, at last he failed in the College entrance examination and lost his opportunity to receive high education.

In high education, one can choose his department according to his interests and knowledge structure, the wrong choice of department breaching one's interests will cause an improper career. One of my classmates in university accepted advices of his parents when choosing department, but he was not interested in his subjects. He was suffering in the four-year study, at last, he failed to graduate and found a job not good enough.

In nowadays, the resources of education is insufficient and imbalance, so a rational utilization of education resources should be brought forward. In elementary education, knowledge of all subjects should be provided to extend ken of each student, and in high education, the interests of one must be considered. Furthermore, the education should also include the skill and knowledge needed in social life.

首先说明我只看了你的提纲和一楼的评点,没有看正文
楼主,你的切入点和我的一样,抓住一个only
但是觉得你下文并没有围绕only来写,还有有效(effect)和高效(efficiency)是有区别的,不要混为一谈
以下是我的一点想法
1。抓住only,为什么不是only,可以说明一下缺陷,比如教育资源有限等
2。我们应该怎样做,比如中小学还是应该以教委的课程大纲进行,大学本科也应该在基础课程之上再按个人兴趣学,研究生教育应改可以满足个人的特殊需求等
3。做一下让步什么的,说这确实是有效的,但不是唯一,最后作个总结

我再谈谈我的看法,题目中说“只有面向个人需要和兴趣的教育才是有效的”
我查了查CIBA effective 这个词是“有效的”,其反义词是ineffecitve,即无效的,并不是高效的。所以我的论点在于“有些不是面向个人需要或者兴趣的教育,并不是无效的”,然后将主体扩展到“对于社会发展来说,这样的教育是有效的”。但现在看来这个角度是有一些问题的。
我现在感觉是,题目中的effective似乎隐指individual,从这个角度来说就与社会需要的教育无关了,1楼的朋友大概也是说这个问题,这个题目我再改改。
