136. "The absence of choice is a circumstance that is very, very rare."
  没有选择的情况少之又少。
提纲：
1部分同意题目观点，过分简单化选择的感念，选择不能决定我们的生活；
2 没有选择的情况的确少之又少（日常生活中做任何事情都要选择）；
3 但是选择不仅仅是由我们的意愿决定，是以大环境为前提的；
3（1）文化就是一代一代传成下来，我们不能选择它的最在与否；
3（2）经济的发展取决于诸多因素，不能单凭我们的选择就能推动其前进；
3（3）全球相互交往日益频繁是全球一体化所趋;
3 (4) 发达国家比发展中国家有更多的选择机会；
4 我们每天的生活都是选择，但我们不能忽视许多更重要的其他决定我们生活的因素，所以仅仅是有选择是不够的。


The speaker claims that the absence of choice is a circumstance that is very, very rare. To some extent I agree with the speaker, but the speaker oversimplifies the concept of choice.

It is true that our daily life is a kind of experience of making decision and choice-the free will we belongpossess, therefore the absence of choice is a circumstance which is very, very rare. No matter where we go, what we do or even what programme on television we see needs our choice. Without choice we might plunge into confusion which cause we can not think objectively. Even though the people who always claim that they have no choice in their life, just because they are in the wrong ideas that their jobs are demeaning, their companies will go bankrupt etc. In reality, they still have their own choice for a better life. Thus we do have choice.

But our life can not only be determined by our choice. As a natural organism on the earth, if we are willing to live a better life or in another word, we do not want to be ruled out by rapidly developing society, we should follow the common rules or obey the right principles set by our forefather.  

Firstly, as everybody known, our culture has come into being for several ?? years, which passes down from one generation to another. Though we are the master of the culture, but we can not perform it in our own way just according to our will. For example, in some areas of Middle East, especially those Muslim, all women wear veils on their faces, which could not be dependent on their own will because this is a custom. Or we can take some festivals into account. Such as Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day and so on, all those festivals are traditional days that are not in the spectrum of choice. We should follow the custom to commemorate what we should memorymemorize.

Secondly, the economic progress is dependent on several reasons not only for our choice. Even though we choice the merchandise on our own will, this will is not the true choice from our inner heart, because in modern life we are influenced by too many aspects from the around environment, then the influence has invaded our minds step by step.(自己感觉就没说完，可实在是想不出别的来了，拍者帮偶想一想吧……)(经济方面,比如说.The market is driven by some internal formulation --referred as 'invisible hand' by Will Smith,father of economics. The personal choice makes little influence on the whole market. According to the rule of demanding and supplying , if a single saler choose to rise the price of certain merchandise,it will not work. For the other saler keep the price static, his buyer will turn to other salers. His personal decision makes no impact on the whole market.

Thirdly, the diversity is disappearing, which is the trend of globalization. Apparently , this trend is also beyond our choice. To every country, the achievementgoal of development is becoming the strong one among other nations, no matter in economy, science, technology and so on. Then all countries try to approach the apex of each field. Or in other way, for a better development of our world, the globalization is necessary which is out of our choice. With the cooperation, every country can learn more from another country which prone the development. The multi-knowledge is the way of approaching our destination. Hence the globalization is not a choice but a necessity.

Fourthly, the developed countries have more choice than developing countries. In developed countries thesome fundamental questions have been solved, such as food, habitation, education and so forth, then they have the ability to choose other aspects to raise the quality of life, maybe entertainment, literature or other physical exercises. But the most important difficulty is dressing warmly and filling their stomach with the people who are in developing countries, then such recreation is dreaming for them. Obviously, the choice for those poor people is quite different from the reach one.

To sum up, every one has the freedom of choice, but only choice can not make us step higher and higher, because each of us is a number of the society, we should follow the social principle. In addition, the definition of choice is different for different people.文章中没有提到
