Should we leave the education solely to a group of professional educators or the opposite? The  author asserts a comprehensive opinion rather than choosing an either-or choice alternative. In this point, I strongly agree with the speaker's assertion that both parents and communities must also participate in the local school.

To begin with, we have to concede the indispensable function local school plays in the education.  Indisputably, school has overwhelming advantages over any other education forms in both software and hardware environment. On the one side, school maintains integrative facilities to make students be fostered in many aspects well: classroom, library, playground, lab as well as a set of education devices. On the other side, the software environment local school owns is even better. Every lesson is taught by a professional educator who knows how to express knowledge to the students more efficiency. Meanwhile, they also take in charge to check the students' homework, ensuring every student exercise after school carefully to maintain the knowledge. Students in school also have text book about every courses which contains the latest as well as the most authorized knowledge. Another factor have to be mentioned that every students can meet many other friends in school, which can help them to make them more socialized. With so many advantages, the significant place of school can never be neglected.

However, the role parents plays in the education should not be neglect either. Students are not in local school all the day. They have much more time to spend around their parents after school or in a vocation, which results in a significant influence from their parents. This influence is so important that sometimes can match the function of school. In school, there are teachers to supervise their behaviors, and when at home, it is their parents job. Or rather, parents must make their own personal examples for children are inclined to learn from their  surroundings, especially their parents who reveal true images them. Little Washington and cherry can be a good example to illustrate this assertion. Owing to his father's proper education, little Washington learns to be the importance of sincerity. Assuming his father behaving the opposite, the result of education would be totally different. Thus parents must pay attention to their important role in education.  

In addition, the community also has to be involved in the education except for the two above. As concerned above students in school can make friends in school, however, they does not really get socialized because of the finite function of local school. Community must also be involved in the education, which can socialized the students better than any other forms. Participating in the community work can teach them how to communicate with people that they does not know, forming their own attitudes towards the society, making them have miserable emotions to the disables. According, community can help to make them socialized more quickly.

In sum, the local school is so significant a part in the education that nothing else could substitute its role. Meanwhile, to socialize the student, we can never neglect the importance of parents and community. Only the multiple function of those three parts can  foster a comprehensive student well.
