How should education be designed to be truly effective? Is it like what the speaker said “only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student."? Yet, from where I stand, I cannot agree with what the speaker said.

To begin with, I would like to raise a question: will it truly effective, if education is designed as what the speaker said? This is indeed not the case. Let's see an example, if some of the students consider that moral education itsele (itself) has little value to exsist (exist), and suggest the ministry of education to cancle (cancel/ disannul/ disaffirm) it and open/ set up/ offer/ establish a course called"how to be an overwhelming winner in the PC game", then what should the teaching department do? Should they follow these students' advice to nullify the moral course or should they remain/ maintain the same education system? According to/ in accordance with/ consistent with the speaker's opinion, the department should alter the course at these students' will in order to provide a truly effective education. However, can we imagine what the result will be? Students are no longer receive moral education which is one of the domain parts of the education system, therefore, they might not be able to tell right from wrong, they might turn to a demon who has high intellegent (intelligence) and a depraved/ degenerate/ decadent mind. Even worse, they may apply their wisdom to do some immoral things which violate the basic displines (discipline) of human beings without the control of their own morality. Under such circumstance, can we still be convinced that such kind of education is truly effective?

What is more, even if what the speaker's suggestion is true, that education will become truly effective when specailly (specially) designed to cater to every individual's needs and intersts (interests), nevertheless, is this suggestion practical/ sound/ feasible/ workable? It is known to all that each individual has his/her own needs and interests, quite a number of which are different from others, even there are times when these various interests will go against each other. Then, what standard of needs and interests should the education meet? What if some of the students complain that the school offer insufficient courses to content their craving for knowledge while other students express disatisfaction (dissatisfaction) that they are required to spend too much time on study and has no free time to play basketball? What if some of the students show their great interests in the field of maths and dislike the language course while it is another picture for some other students? If the education are designed to meet the former students' requirement then it cannot gratify/ satisfy/ fulfill the latter ones' interests, as a result, the chances that establish such education style are remote.

Obviously, the speaker's advice bears no fruit/ proves no effective/ gets the desire result. Then, what should education be designed to be truly effective? Since the goal of education is to spur the progress of the whole society, that is, the progress of all the society members, only when it achieves its aim can it be called truly effective. Consequently, education should be designed to meet the mass needs and interests while on the other hand, it can hardly function if it only satisfies the individual’s interests. The "popular education" style promoted/advocated/ encouraged now, is such kind of education, for it is open to the mass population instead of facing to merely individual’s needs, and since each individual's interests have their common ground, based on such ground, an education system can be easily designed and therefore be truly effective.

To sum up, education is rather a popular one than a elithic one as it is required by the society, thus, education cannot be designed to meet each students' interests and needs.

最后一段我怎么都觉得不对劲,可是又不知道怎么改,希望大家提点意见。
PS:各位修改过我的作文后,麻烦把你的作文链接贴上,这样我也可以拍拍砖头了:lol

How should education be designed to be truly effective? Is it like what the speaker said “only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student."? Yet, from where I stand, I cannot agree with what the speaker said.//问句开头,好,但最好把自己的观点给鲜明的写出来//

To begin with, I would like to raise a question: will it truly effective, if education is designed as what the speaker said? This is indeed not// not indeed 好象顺一点,读起来 //the case. Let's see an example//太口语话,建议For instance//, if some of the students consider that moral education itsele (itself) has little value to exsist (exist), and suggest the ministry of education to cancle (cancel/ disannul/ disaffirm) it and open/ set up/ offer/ establish a course called"how to be an overwhelming winner in the PC game", then what should the teaching department do//有点明白意思?//? Should they follow these students' advice to nullify the moral course or should they remain/ maintain the same education system? According to/ in accordance with/ consistent with the speaker's opinion, the department should alter the course at these students' will in order to provide a truly effective education//前面的反问句用得很好,但是觉得表达一个意思不适宜用的太多,以免显得太累赘,建议删掉一些//. However, can we imagine what the result will be?
