Generally speaking, I don't agree with the statement that tourism become unpopular in that people are easier to obtain much information about places by TV and Internet. From where I stand, I think it is the help of the TV and internet that spur/ intrigue more people to travel out.

On the one hand, I concede that with the development of technology, television and internet have pervaded people's daily life. In order to draw people's eyes, many programs are concerning about introducing the places of interest to the audiences, all of which are with elaborate information and tempting pictures about the scene. What is more, people nowadays provided with abundance of data about the details of traveling to a place. By searching on the internet, can people observe the material that which place is worth visiting, that how to get there conveniently, that what are the famous food there and the like.

On the other hand, I don't think that such kind of information people obtain from television and internet will prevent them from traveling outside. First of all, it is the curiosity that propel people take a trip to a place introduced in the TV program. Curiosity is the human nature, when people see a place that is so tempting and beautiful in the TV program, they will have an impulsion to visit there by themselves. Their inborn nature urge them to see whether the place is as beautiful as it is in the television, and whether the food introduced are the same delicious with what they observe from the internet. What is more, some of the places introduced by the program or internet are never heard by people; therefore, human being's curiosity propels people to have a trip there, having a new experience.

Next in order, it is also human's nature------greedy, that stimulates people to visit a place that they already known by watching TV or searching on the internet. Never will People be content with what they get from the program or internet; however details these media may provide. Thus, they will find that the information offered by the program or internet is far more sufficient than they desire, they crave for more! Under such circumstance, people choose to travel, choose to experience by themselves so that their requirement can be fully satisfied.

What is more, even if some of people will content with the rich information they gain from the television and the internet, but some other people will absolutely make a trip by themselves, they are the photographers and the fans of tourism. When seeing an amazing place, the photographers will eager to visit there and take as many pictures as they can. This requirement can not be fulfilled by the television or the internet. Similarly, the fans of tourism who find pleasure from traveling will not stop by the lavish information provided by the internet or TV. The materials they get only drive them to travel there so that they can enjoy the pleasant they get from traveling.

To sum up, although people are convenient to obtain information about many places by watching TV and searching on the internet, however, their natures propel them to travel, so do their occupation and hobby.
