考试时抽到了这个。本帖删除。

提纲：
1。无可否认，artists创作作品的价值
2。但是，没有critics去鉴别、去发现，伟大的艺术品很难从众多的作品脱颖而出，为大众所发现，也就谈不上在社会上lasting。
结论：二者缺一不可。

lesser known觉得似乎有印象,但是查字典找不找了,所以我也不确信了..

汤剂，偶感觉你把“lasting value”给忽略啦。
全文好像是在谈artist跟critic哪个更重要似的。

个人意见，表学猫头封我！

嗯，是应该说的更清楚点儿：
artists 创造了作品的内在价值（lasting的潜在可能性）
critics 向社会揭示了这些价值，让它们为社会所知（【gives】【society】 value，没有他们社会无法知晓这些价值，也就谈不上lasting，所以在让伟大艺术品lasting上也不可或却。

还有严禁以猫头之心度他人之腹！
