ISSUE 157 "There is no such thing as purely objective observation. All observation is subjective; it is always guided by the observer's expectations or desires."
Whether there exists such thing as purely objective observation has been under hot debate of existentialists and epidemiologists. Some hold the opinions that all observation is subjective, which is always guided by our expectations or desires. I will argue, however, that observation in day-to-day life is more or less subjective, whereas in realm of science, the role of objective observation can never be neglected.开头可以。考场上能有模板挺好的,省时间
To begin with, people have brought subjective colors to observation in daily lives. Toward the same thing or situation, people's judgments usually vary considerably from person to person. Deep down it is the spiritual or psychological forces, such as expectations, desires, or values, etc, that have guided their behavior, with making observation is no exception./ no exception with making observation 更常用些吧 "Although there is only one world, people see it with different eyes." This saying is used invariably to point out that people's everyday-life-oriented/ 这个词自造的? observation is continuously guided by some subjective factors. Take Kobe Bryant's sexual scandal for instance. He was accused of sexual assault to a girl, little known to the public, at the earlier of this year/这句话表意不 明,有一点要记住,叙述东西的时候对方对你这个东西是全然不了解或不 是很清楚的,你得用最精练的语言把它表述完整. While some people blamed the basketball superstar for his misbehavior, Kobe’s funs supporting him, on the contrary, insisted that the girl, for fame and publicity, exaggerated and even distorted the truth. Before all things were brought in broad daylight, those basketball funs preferred to put their trust on Kobe, which was led by their personal feelings. 分析的很到位To be sure, people’s daily observation is always / 避免绝对化oriented by subjective factors, such as expectations, desires, and so forth.
Although we can not strip subjective colors in observation of our ordinary lives, this is not to say that all observation is subjective. In fact, in realms such as scientific domain we rely heavily on objective observation for significant advancement. Objectiveness, enabled by various technologies and embodied in the accurate data and analysis, is the core and essence of our study of disciplines.从结构上讲这里最好再加一两句为什么在各种学科里存在objectiveness,或者分别列出几个学科的例子, 然后再给某具体学科的例子好些 For example, in every minute the Global Positioning Satellite (GPS), circling the earth with approximately the same speed, adjusts the governments' atomic clock. The latter, as is known to all, informs the public the accurate time. Without GPS continually correcting the effect of relativity, the resulting errors would soon make the data given by the atomic clock and ours meaningless. While most of us, I myself included, would judge time as something linear, scientific observation contradicts our expectation. Whatever else might be said, objective observation always performs itself in the domain of science, independent of human influences.
In conclusion, it is too hasty to assert that observation, guided by our expectations or desires, is all subjective. While this is true in observation of daily lives, scientific study requires us to set aside our subjectivity. Hence, it is presumptuous to judge observation as subjective before we delve deep into all, at least two here in my analysis, realms relevant to observation.
总评:是啊,两段感觉是论证的 稍微少了点,你可以稍微参考下b 和t写过的这篇文章再加点
