lasting value, by definition of a proverbially appreciated signification in all realms in people’s life, referring to both historic positive influence and negative lessons it brought upon people’s perspective, has been chased by artists and critics as their ultimate object ever since its naissance. Regarding to the puissance that lasting value enjoys, people have been trying to differ artist from critic so as to one of them can be considered the most important dedicator for the lasing value. However, from my point of view, the criticism is to art what tongue is to cate, they are more of twin than they are independent individuals, consequently, only throught harmonious cooperation of the two can the future deveolopment of human beings be promising and continuous.

The pith of art is that is the concentrated and distilled essence of everly aspects in society, is the reflection of people’s thought in the corresponding field. For example, the towering Chinese novle The Dream of the Red Mansion is the representative of peoples’ pursuing of pure love and the expectation for a big family’s everlasting prosperity.Da Vinci’s paintings are labelled as the masterpieces of fine arts in that European’s culture spreading from peaceful bucolic life to admiration for the chastity of women is vividly displayed in different paintings of his, and because his paintings contain hidden levels of meaning of life that goes well beneath the surface of the paint. Beethoven’s melodious music appeals to people of divaricating age and race because the music traverses time limitation and territorial boundary and thereby tieing men from worldwide together in his beautiful music. All these supreme artists contributed a lot to the development of mankind psychlogically due to the great art works they had make for us. What’s more, in the face of art, every individual person is equal to each other and therefore they can communicate freely with each other, live concordantly all togethere. What’s really apprecious is that people achieve the dream of Great Harmony in virtue of art. In this sense, it cannot be denied that artists are the propeller of progress since people’s soul has been baptised by their work where the essence of art is embodied.

Nevertheless, without critics’s comments and rational criticism on art, people’s ideology would be in a blind and over-ideal status which does no good to our progress. Why? It’s becaue that not all art is perfect, nor beget all positive and favorable effects on people. the illuminationg instance involves Shakspear’s masterpiece Romeo And Julia in which noble love is highly commended but the tragic ending make it a doomed tradegy. If people are fantastically enmeshed in their admiration for such a kind of true love as represents in the play, there lies high likelihood that lovers would imitate Julia’s method of suicide as the last resort to demonstrate their strong will in love. Under such circumstance,the whole society is in dire need of prudent critics who would penetratingly point out the stupidity cherished in the spiritual novel as the priceless means to show love. In terms of this, what critics actually have done is not destorying the value of art but orient it to the pracical life, which enables art to be pragmatic-related, thus its value could be showed in everyday life. In this case, a critic’s evaluation or criticism of an art work serves as a filter, which helps us to determine what kind of thing in the art work we should follow and which should only be considered as pure entertainment.

In the fianal analysis, having viewed all the analysis above, we can draw the conclusion that critic and artist supplement each other, only throught the inderdependece on each other can both of them reach a higher level of thinking and therefore provide us with the real lasting value. Althought critics’ work hardly leaves any memorable trace as time pass by, their evaluation put the selected art to a higher position and create the classic everlasting value.

我没有仔细看楼主的文章，只看了outline，觉得没有太多新意，对不起。
不过我有一些别的想法，楼主可以考虑我的建议。
价值首先要被人发现，才能真正成为价值。如果要lasting，就需要不断被提及。
所以我觉得可以从另外一个角度出发，讨论由于批评家对某些作品的评论，导致其被真正的关注，或者导致长期关注，才使得作品的价值和潜力，被完全激发出来。
有争议的东西，才是人们最关注，最津津乐道的，在这样的情况下，才有了lasting value. 就像兵马俑如果没有人发现，也就不具备任何现实意义，所以艺术作品也需要被人关注。

一点粗略不太成形的想法。
不知道大家怎么看，觉得从这个角度写的可行性怎么样？

对于这篇文章,我认为作者的用语及句型用的很好,文章有些拼写错误,我认为对于给你的修改不应该放在句子上,所以我就没细修改,我只想从文章的结构和论证的展开方面对你的文章提几点浅显的看法.

1)第一段说艺术的作用,第二段说评论家对艺术的正确引导,第三段说只有两者的结合才,,....     我自己认为对持久艺术的作用,作者只是第二段论述了,其他段落与之的关系不是很密切.我自己认为北美的那本书和issue写作100篇上的内容的论述重点是通过几点来正是自己想要表达的内容,逻辑很清楚. 但说回来一些高手写的作文有时候我确实看不懂.所以只是提了我自己的看法.

2)在没个段落展开上作者的例子多很好,如果加点推理会更好.


总之作者的英语功底非常好,文章的例证也很好,我的建议是加点推理,至于文章的整体安排,和个段落的主题,可能由于我的水平有限,看不大懂.请原谅.

最后给组长提个建议,以后我们组里修改文章时多提一些文章分析层面的问题.

看过这篇文章，再次深切的感受了sally语言功底的深厚。
不过，诚如了楼上所说，文章在推理方面还有可挖掘的空间。并且，在第二段中，大量的引用例子的同时，能对例子加以一些分析会更好。
第三段中关评论家作用的论述感觉不是很到位。首先，ROMEO AND JULIA的例子并不能很好的说明批评家对于艺术永久价值的贡献，两者不是很搭边。另外，在引导人们的认识到艺术的现实性这点上，我觉得艺术本来就重在精神层面的追求，这样的说法好像对于艺术的理解稍有些偏差。
以上仅是自己的一点想法，供sally参考~~~
文章写得很棒了，再多些思考，肯定可以拿满意的分数的！~~
