Offers: Penn State University, U Maryland (College Park), UCSD (no information on aid yet),  University of Wisconsin-Madison

Rejections: Yale, Berkeley, Princeton

Still Waiting: About 10 schools

You have been recommended for admission to the Ph.D. program in Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  An admissions packet will be mailed to you shortly.  In the meantime, the following is the text of the letter you will receive.  You have been awarded a University Fellowship for your first year of study. This fellowship includes a $15,120  stipend (which will be paid over 9 months), a waiver of tuition charges, and a health benefit package (which includes spouse and children). The actual fellowship offer is contained in the enclosed letter from the Graduate School.

美国这边的高中，大学(NYU)
读到一半的master's
GRE: V750 Q780
GPA:3.9
无paper
牛教授推荐
主要觉得自己是在NYU Courant拿数学课比较多，成绩比较好

当初申的时候教授觉得我的条件不是太好。因为很多申请人都发过paper, 所以，根据教授说，美国本土学生如无paper申请PhD in economics其实并没有其他国家有paper的牛人有竞争力。好像在NYU几个师兄师姐，在国内的时候已经发过N多paper, 所以他们申的时候都十拿九稳有offer。而我自己也不敢申NYU，因为太牛，也太多有研究经验的牛人申请。
而PSU 和Maryland最近几年都想培养一批新人，所以我就好运收到他们的offer了。

希望大家早日收到offer. 加油。

汗，明日还要考试。。。我还要努力吗。。。。。。
