报offer并请教

Dear Mr. Zhao,

I have received a copy of the offer letter you were sent. It indicates the Physics department will pay a stipend of $9,900.00 for one academic year. The actual amount we need in order for your living expenses to be fully covered is $10,072.00 per academic year. That leaves a difference of $172.00. If you have another sponsor who can support you for one academic year for this amount, I need that sponsor to complete the attached affidavit according to the instructions. We also need a bank letter from your sponsor indicating there is at least $172.00 in your sponsor's account. After we receive those documents, and if they are acceptable, we will admit you and send your I-20 and other admission documents to you.

以上信中提到总共只需要10,072美元，就够全部生活费了。怎么会这么少？学费，住宿费和饭费加起来可能只有这么少吗？

但是在她的附件当中的sponser letter 中说到，要提供23,000美元的证明。如果加上系里的stipend, 则还需要14,000美元。Your sponsor must indicate that he/she will support you with at least $23,000 per year.

那么，开银行证明是开172还是开14000呢？

如果开的话，好像还要公证，公正费一般多少？             3.        The affidavit must be sworn to or affirmed in person by the sponsor before a notary public, attorney, U.S. consular officer or other official authorized to administer oaths, and this section must be confirmed by the official in the section of the affidavit entitled “Certification….”

生活得不是很豪华的话应该是够了。
系里给你的不止是stipend，还有tuition, 计算的时候要把这一部分也算进去。
只需要按照信里要求的数字提供资金证明就可以了！

如果老是说这些钱够你花销的话，那就应该可以的。很多学校不在大城市，所以10，000也是够的~~

是，我自己也怀疑。因为我没有交申请费，也没有陶瓷。物理系也没有教授或小秘给我联系。
