【如何更改笔考地点】

      由于我个人考试当天在上海有事的原因，我将今年的GRE笔考地点由原来北京的清华改到了上海的华师大。刚刚打电话回来。从开始有这个改地点的想法，就开始在寄托招帖子，发现没有很合适的和比较详细的说明，有一个帖子上面说的ETS的回信和我收到的也不一样，所以将我的更改过程详细地说一下，以便以后有和我一样不得不改的情形的同学来参考。

说明一下：
      我是对第二部分的考试也就是VQ的笔考考场进行更改，需要联系ETS，可以电话或者传真，E-mail应该也可以。我个人觉得电话更可靠一些，所以打电话。PS:我是和一个同学一起改的；
      对机考作文考场的更改应该只需联系国内的考试中心就可以。

      打电话之前，我先发邮件询问了一下，也都收到了回复（邮件件后面）。今晚打电话才正式完成更改工作。
      根据我收到的邮件，可以打的电话有 001-866-473-4373

      打电话时可以使用17908的IP卡（可打国际长途），要用网通的机子。我用的就是这个卡，先用网通的IC卡，再拨这个IP，一分钟2.4元，IC也要正常的花钱...没用其他省钱的方法，感觉这个就挺方便...

      看到以前的帖子里有打第二个电话成功的，于是我先打了第二个电话，但是一直是忙音，所以又改打第一个电话，一次接通。打电话的时间是晚上十点半左右。
接电话的是男音，说得很慢，听不清的时候还可以一直说pardon或者Sorry, I can’t hear you clearly之类的，他都会放慢速度和加大音量，比较的kind.
是我同学先打，直接跟他表明要改考场，但不换考试时间。于是那边问register number，我同学说admission letter丢掉了，不知道这个number，那个人让报last name和first name，好像是直接从计算机上查到的，又check了一下date of birth还有以前的考场就OK了。至于要改的考场，你只需告诉他考场号码就行，当然他会问你。比如我们要改的华师大是10607。
      
      之后是问你的address，就是你现在和机考时填的地址，是用来接收新的准考证的。

      最后问了付费方式：注意改考场也是要40$的（老美就是黑…）…和改期一样要了国际信用卡的卡号和到期日期。我们用的是招商的VISA信用卡。
同学说完之后，和那个人说她的friend也要改（也就是我），于是把电话递给我，我又重复了上面的过程。害怕说错，我又专门和那个人确认了一下，只改地点不改时间，并且询问了考试的时候还需要什么，他说只需要准考证和证件，就是和未改时一样。最后我又询问了什么时候新的admission letter可以到，答14~16天。然后确认没有别的了程序了。

      要拜拜的时候，那个男中音很柔和地问要不要take a survey，我问多长时间，说只有一分钟，于是就做了，可惜在大街上，太吵我没听清回答需要按那个键，随便一按又不对，只听到话筒里说：We haven’t got your entry之类的…具体的忘了…然后就挂了…

      打完之后，反应过来没有问怎样才能得知我们真的改成功了…不过ms这样就已经好了。想着过一两天去看看卡里的钱是不是没了。

      下面是我发的邮件：根据邮件来现实，一封说需要在5月6号之前发传真和E-mail表明要更改，另一封说更改费用要在考试前三天送到。邮件说的象是在Reschedule，我实在是不信任的说，还是打电话好一点儿。不用担心和老美说话，挺好玩的，8过我今天说的超烂^_^

      在准备更改之前，我给ETS发了邮件，询问该地点的事情，我的第一封邮件和回复分别如下（回复相当的快，只经过一天）：
      我的邮件：

Dear sir,
I have already received the admission ticket for the split paper-based GRE general test in China in June 10th 2006. And I chose 10604 Beijing, Tsinghua University as the test center location of the second part of the General Test. But now I have difficulties to take the second part test in Beijing, so I would like to change my test center location to 10607 Shanghai, East China Normal University, and wonder if this change can be made.

Besides, a friend of mine has the same situation as me, so I hope you could also do her a favor, and change her test center location to 10607 Shanghai, East China Normal University too. Her former choice is10183 Beijing, Peking University.

      折腾了这么久还把考试地点给改了，心里真不踏实地说。今年的6月10号既是考G的日子也是项目答辩的日子，也是偶21岁生日…现在准备5T也把G放了好久了。心里挺不是滋味。Anyway，希望能够坚持住，希望别折腾得把考试耽误了，希望能在上海打个好仗~

      嘿嘿，要去上海考了，还和一个作文组的amy姐一个考场，能够见面了，期待ing…
