Nowadays, we are living in a world connected tightly with each other, and people with special personality and experience, called as role models, set many examples for us. Some consider that too much emphasis is placed on role models, and people should learn to think and act independently and thus make the best choices, while I partly agree with the view. I confess that people should learn to think and act independently and make the best choice for themselves, meanwhile, we should learn from the role models and also the spirit of cooperation with others.

As the threshold matter, it is wildly acceptable that people should learn to think and act independently and thus make the choices best for them, for copying others restricts the origination and innovation of human being and the copying choice may not be suitable for individuals. Since innovation indicates different from the all ready existing, the unchanged copying of others rarely stimulates innovation. Besides, the copy of others is rarely adaptable to the unique disposition of each individual. Like the unique policy on HongKong of China, it is the original designed to suit for the special situation of HongKong. Thus, one should thing and act independently to expand beyond the restriction of copying and to create and innovate, and make the most suitable and best choice.

Meanwhile, the fact that role model instruct people should not be ignored, and we should learn from the role models Admittedly, the role models has some disposition and enlightening thinking compared to the commons and some of them set good examples for us and worthy to learn from them. Such examples are not rare in history and our life. The experience of Bill Gates indicates that determination and innovation is necessary to succeed. And he is a good example and encouragement for children and the people seek for a career. His experience and asset is worth learning and following, but not simply copying which is beneficial to conquer difficult and both in work and daily life. Thus, it is important to learn from the role models.

The last, though to act and think independently is important, the cooperation is essential for human too. It is the matter of fact that in a world close connected with each other, cooperation, leading to the best way to accomplish a large project hardly achieved by single one and the way to pursue the maximum profit with minimum cost, is essential for people. The program to identify genome of human kind, for instance, is the processed by scientists from 11 nations. Without the spirit of cooperation, the large amount of work and cost would make the program hardly accomplished in short time. And the multinational is a good example of the perfect cooperation by manufacture in the lowest cost area and sell worldwide to pursuit profit. As a result, it is necessary for a person to learn to cooperation with others.

To sum up, according to what had been discussed above, a conclusion could be draw safely that though people should learn to think and act independently, to learn from role models and the spirit of cooperation is essential for people, too. In modern world, it is important for a person to obtain the comprehensive capacities to learn and to innovate in work and life.
