1.        Admittedly, natural process did eliminate some species through natural selection. However, it did not break the balance of ecosystem.

3.        Since the diversity of species is beneficial to human beings, measures should be taken to protect the endangered species. It is human being’s very responsibility to protect the species from extinction.


Recently, the discussion on ecology is gaining more and more attention. People begin to realize that the balance of ecosystem is being broken. Some people hold a view that the extinction of some species is the natural result of evolution, while human process, I believe, mainly lead to its extinction.

Admittedly, natural process did eliminate some species through natural selections. However, it did not break the balance of the ecosystem. A lot of species disappeared in the past times are due to natural selection which has little to do with human. Millions of years ago, kinds of plants and animals came into being after a change of an earthquake or clashes between planets and earth. Some of them still live around us and some of them evolved, majority of these various species disappeared gradually because of natural selection. Take dinosaur for example, the dinosaur became extinct by exotic calamity rather than human, only leaving only fossil for human to review the dinosaur we have never seen. During the process of survival of the fittest, a myriad of species became distinct; however, the balance of ecosystem has not been break.


Nowadays, with the development of modernization, what should arouse our attention is that due to human process, including pollution and excessive exploration of natural resources, our natural environment is being threatened, and the extinction of rare species is accelerated with the development of modern industry. Highly industrialization not only brings us tined products and convenience, but heavily pollution of feculent rivers, greenhouse air, land of desert and more bared forest. During only several years, we have see, the pellucid rivers which we can see the bottom are no longer limpid, some fishes in the lake are becoming rare or even extinct. Since panda is the symbol of China, our offspring may see it only on the television years later if we will not take some measures to protect our environment from pollution. It’s not the result of natural process, but the pollution of human behavior.

The extinction of species is the warning of the deterioration of the environment which would early or late threaten human beings.

Therefore, measures should be taken to save the endangered species, since the diversity of species in beneficial to human being. We undoubtedly have the responsibility to save the extincting species, at the same time, it’s will save human being. What’s more, with the protection of environment, we can better develop our tourism, which will bring considerable income to protect environment in return. More jobs may be provided then. It will be a well circulation.


In sum, despite of natural process, it’s just and necessary for the society to spend money and additional efforts on protecting environment to provide ourselves a stable healthy and lasting living environment, including our offspring.
