The nonmainstream areas' inquiry, such as astrology, fortune-telling, and psychic and paranormal pursuits, insofar as caters to many human needs. Nevertheless, in my opinion, nonmainstream is a two-edged weapon, inapproriate use will rouse potential social problems.

For one aspect, the nonmainstream area of inquiry can help desperate people revital morale in some extent. It is known that during the lifetime we would entangle and encounter uncountable problems, difficulties or bad situation. Although sometimes plights are under our control, we still possible be hit down by some difficulties when they tender our fragile and sensitive nerves. At this situation, the psychic pursuits, or anything like that, help people assuage painful things and pick up confidence again through hint that difficulties will go and good luck will back. From this angle nonmainstream is satisfying human need.

For another aspect, the nonmainstream area of inquiry help us feel better when face the death. Most humanbeings are reluctant to accept the fact that human are motal, not to mention leave the world for the reason that they once struggle in the life, they own a happiness livelihood, they are loved and they are loving people surrounding them. Since the appearance of psychic and paranormal pursuit, death is explained as another existence style, which is still relevent to our world. People can communicate with the dead people we loved through methods of nonmainstream areas.

Additionally, people are so curious about unknown fields which cannot be explained by mainstream science until now. And the inquiry of such nonmainstream areas accidentally satisfies people's curiocity and attracts people's intersts. In the unknown realm, such as Unidentified Flying Objects(UFO), aliens, or other mysterious natural phenomena, are still beyound the scientifical research methods. While the nonmainstream areas adopt ambiguous and specious theories, which are inclined to be accepted by uneducated people and the underclass of the society,  to interpret puzzles confused human.

Although inquiring of such nonmainstream areas brings satisfaction to human need, inappropriate use or blind faith of this is harmful to individuals and the society. In retrospect the history, social roits, collective suicide, some acts like that are happened since some ulterior person take use of such psychic ideas and control people's mind. Other than this, excessive rely on nonmainstream areas which are mainly on unsubstantiated results impede the advancement of mainstream science, which persuit the truth and facts through analysis, reason, synthesis.

In sum up, for the psychological needs of people, we can inquiry nonmainstream areas in a certain degree. However, we should avoid our thinking been controled by the nonmainstream areas.

The argument recommends to continue using EZ Disposal for trash service in Walnut Grove for that EZ collects trash more frequently and has more trucks than ABC. Additionally, a survey is illustrated that EZ provides good service. Nevertheless, a close look at the argument will find that the argument contains several flaws, which render it unconvincing.

First of all, the author considers that EZ collects trash twice a week reflects EZ has a better service than ABC. However, this fact amounts to scant evidents that this is the case. It is possible that the work efficiency in EZ is worse than ABC that EZ has to spend twice time of ABC's to finish a mission. Or perhaps collecting trash once a week is sufficient to the town, twice a week is a waste of time. In sum, without any evidence that the town needs to collect trash twice a week, the claim is dubious at best.

In the second place, based on the fact that the number of trucks in EZ has increased the author infers that we should use EZ. However, this is not necessarily the case. It is entirely possible that additional trucks are introduced for other applications other than trash collection service. To the extent that this is the case, then the author's argument according to this fact is unconvincing.

In the third place, the argument infers from a survey that EZ provides exceptional service. Even so, the survey might be not convincing in two respects: First, the article fails to make clear the exact percentage of respondents in the survey to whole population(是指用EZ公司服务的人，这儿用定语限定一下比较好吧) in the town. If only a small portion of the whole population are experience the survey, then it is entirely possible that the advise（adivice） of respondents are not representative of the town's. Second, we are not informed whether the survey required that respondents only to response for EZ's service. If it did, then the results might distort the preference of the respondents, who might very well prefer ABC or other trash collects. In either event, the survey results would be unreliable for drawing any conclusion about the service of EZ.

In all, the argument is not well reasoned. To make it logically acceptable, the arguer would have to demonstrate that the town needs to collect trash twice a week and needs more trucks. The arguer also needs to point that the additional trucks are used for trash collecting. Moreover, the arguer would have to provide more evidence concerning the percentage of the respondents and the methodology of the survey.
