12.12日作业：Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? People will spend less time in cooking or preparing food in twenty years than nowadays.

Household works are always tedious and tiresome, therefore, many people especially man feel reluctant to help in the kitchen works. Some people even claim that they will take part in family food industry only when it cost less than 15 minutes. It seems in two decades they will have to fulfil their promise, for the trend that cooking food and preparing food become easier and less time consuming is irreversible.

The boom of supermarkets give rise to less painful household works. Large supermarkets near the community free us from commuting between home and food market which exhuast considerable amount of time. And almost all the ingredient needed to cook a meal are readily available at a sound price there, resulting in less time in bargain. Therefore, preparing food becomes less time consuming. With the further development of the internet and transportation system, people can even save those time . Here is a realistic portrait of the promising future of on-line shopping. People order what they want on the website, then local market send those merchandise to their home. People only need to sign their name and receive in front of their door. So convenient it is that this method may be widely advocated by people in twenty years which will further save our time in preparing food.

Technology also help us save time in cooking. Several decades ago, an accidental finding in microwave lead to the great invention which offers a fast and brand new way to heat food. Nowadays, microwave oven is wildly employed by restaurants and cooks, symbolizing an efficient cooking era. Apart from the advance in heating food, other kitchen utensils also get improved more or less. Such enhancement will continue as companies rely on those new features to make profit and attract customers. There is great possibility that more advanced ones with higher efficiency will be invented in twenty years.

Therefore, I believe that people will spend less time in cooking or preparing food in twenty years.
