ISSUE51 - "Education will be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student."

Ts:
1.
不可否认 如果针对每个学生兴趣进行教育,效率会很高,但这样却是不现实的

首先 这会造成教育成本的大幅度增加       教职员工费用问题   教师短缺问题  教育费用上升造成家庭无法承受

其次,在一个人成长初期,很少有人知道兴趣究竟是什么,所以通过接受基础教育还是很必要的       比尔盖茨 爱因斯坦

最后,针对性的教育方式可能会造成学生知识面过于狭窄,不利于做出卓越贡献

The speaker asserts that only when education is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student can it be truly effective. I concede that in this way the effectiveness of education will be improved largely and more talented persons will contribute their efforts to our society. Nevertheless, in my view this education system which is to satisfy every student exist some questions that might impede it's execution for the problem of expense of education, the students' interest and the scope of knowledge.


First of all, after analyzing the speaker's notion, we can find out that carrying out this assertion as contemporary system of education is unrealistic for this measure will be bond to enhance the expense for education that neither ourselves nor the county can afford, and aggravate the shortage of faculties and teachers. For example, we know that myriad countries in Africa is involved in the problem of deficient recourse of teachers and fund that only depend on international aid can they solve. Thereby, I want to know where can we find so many teachers to partake in the project and who will pay for the stunning expenditure? Ourselves? It is clear that ordinary people have no ability to afford; Government? It may still be a tough problem that can be solved in a short term. The end result is that the execution is inhibited for we don't have enough money and teachers.


Secondly, in my observation there are large portion of students don't know whatever on earth are they interest in when they are in childhood and even some preeminent figures are the like. Consider, for example, Einstein should be the one whose job is just his favorite interest. However, we never have read the description that Einstein represented striking interest in physics before he accepted the education of primary school, we just have read the description like that "When Einstein went to school, he involved himself in physics". And, Bill Gates is another example to illustrate this phenomenon for his interest in computer beget after he graduated from the primary school. So, as I see that the fundamental education is necessary during which we can find our authentic interest.


Thirdly, the individual education for different characters may have bad impact on students whose scope of knowledge is so narrow that they are unlikely to contribute meaningfully to their own field. For instance, the discover of DNA, though it belongs to biology, the scientists apply different fields knowledge such as physics, chemistry to help them finally find the result. Assuming that a scientist who is only interest in biology and knows little about other fields, it is difficult for him to make progress in his domain.


To sum up, in my view only when we have ability to solve the above problems, such as the expense of education, can we design specific education for each individual. Otherwise, I still insist that the current education approach is the most effective one in our society.
