第一次写~还没有看过评分标准什么的，感觉完全还没入门~凭着感觉。。呃。。请多多指教~ 希望以后能和大家共同进步~ ^^

The speaker holds the idea that privatespace industry will not bring that much benefits as the passage shows. Thereare mainly three reasons.

First of all, to privatize spacecraft wouldraise the total cost instead of cutting down the prices of building spacecraft.As the speaker claims, space tourism requires more safety tests which wouldcertainly cause much higher costs. Besides, space travel is a very expensivechoice that people who earn a regular salary may not able to afford it. Whatkind of
industry it belongs todetermines whether it will be popular in the future.

Furthermore, the speaker makes clear thatthe privatization of space travel will not accelerate the scientific discovery.Professional engineers may probably call to make the space tour industry goeswell while in the mean time cut down the time and effort used in the scientificresearch as it used to be.

Finally, the burden of taxpayers would beheavier according to the speaker. It is obvious that the development of spacetourism calls for more and more basic facilities like space stations. Thesewill cost more money from the taxpayers and what’s most ironically, who maynever be able to afford to travel into the space once in their lives.
