3University students should be required to take basic science classes even they are not part of the field of the study.

There is a fierce debate nowadays upon whether university should require their students to take classes in basic sciences even they are not part of the field of study. Dissenters argue that it is a waste of time for students whose majors are not science because they may probably never use it in their future life. While supporters point that learning basic science contributes students’ objective thinking skills which is very crucial in their career or academy. I tend to agree with the supporters for the following reasons:

Firstly, science classes teach students practical knowledge which is useful in their daily lives. For instance, physics teach students the principle of movement. With this knowledge, students can take advantage of pulley to uplift heavy cargos with little efforts. Another example will be biology class which enables students to have knowledge of themselves, so that they could protect themselves from potential harmful hazards. Therefore, science is not a bunch of useless theories but pragmatic experiences our ancestors endowed us.

Secondly, science classes not only teach students academic knowledge but also help them cultivate a scientific attitude, its objectivity and rigidity, which will be a good quality in both research and work. The reasoning process an art student learnt in math can help him consider comprehensively and logically when he’s composing a detective novel. As we all know, it is the plot in addition to writing skills enchant readers. Also, in many cases, science knowledge brings fresh blood in art. Remember Leonardo Da Vinci’s delicate skills in constructing human figure in his painting were derived from his knowledge in physics through many experiments of dissect human body.

A third reason lies in the fact that when students entering university, they do not really know where their interests and talents are. Thus, there is a good chance that some art majored students may find interest in space exploration after taking classes in astronomy. Science classes grant students more chances to dabber the area they may show real capabilities.

As mentioned above, I tend to agree with universities that oblige their students to learn basic science knowledge because the more one learn, the wider horizontal he or she will have.

三个题目里面挑了个自己觉得最不好写的,其余两个写成了提纲

1High schools, universities and colleges should spend less time teaching about general subjects and spend more time teaching about preparing for future career and jobs.

Firstly, there is a good chance that these graduates choose to further their education rather than participate in work, thus general subjects seem to be more crucial for their academic development.

Secondly, there are many other ways available for students to acquired practical skills, for example, work.

Thirdly, except for teaching students useful knowledge and skills, there is a very significant role that university takes is cultivating student's ability in considering. In other words, instead of imbuing students knowledge, univerisity should teach them how to learn themselves.

2In university, students should take the history courses no matter what field they study in.

Firstly, history is useful whatever area you are majored in. examples will be quoted such as economics and medicine.

Secondly, history is inspiring. 马可波罗的例子

Thirdly, learning history help one identify his or her national identity.

Firstly, the title is ask you do you agree or disagree "University students should be required to take basic science classes even they are not part of the field of the study" However, your ending paragraph point out you assent universities should obligate their students to learn basic science. It is controversial! Because the way to learn basic science have many approaches, taking basic sccience classes is only one of it. And also this sentence have some of grammal erros, have no subjective , horizental and have are mistakely using.

楼主这篇文章如果是在时间之内写出来的话一定能拿下高分了。用词和句式都很丰富。值得学习啊!而且error 也很少
