Do the arts have the function of revealing the ideas hidden and impulses of a society? The speaker claims so. Admittedly, I concede that certain of work of arts created is to present and reveal the ideas hidden and impulses of society, however in my view it is presumptious to conclude as the speaker for the reason that many of arts are just some improvise images emerge in the brains of artists To begin with, under some circumstances art as one of the way to express the feeling and assertion of artists indeed delegate hidden ideas and impulses of a society in that artists as an individual of society usually have his or her own opinion on the phenomenon of society which is held on by others. Simply put, when facing the exploration of the attemption of artists, we have to admit that there are large amount of work of art which merely present their own ideas. Moreover, except for the arts, many of other things can attain the same function as well for they, to some extent, convey some people's feeling. For instance, internet has became one of the important occassion in which people are free to express their own ideas and remarks about the current news at home and abroad. For this reason, many official of government often through network to learn the need of populace. Accordingly, art is not the only approach to reveal the hidden idea and impulse of society. To sum up, the work of art reveal not only the hidden ideas and impulse of a society but also convey the idosyncratic idea of its creator. In addition, there are many of other ways which can also do the same thing.
