Accompanied with human’s progression, a number of animals have been extinct, the main reason of which is the disappearance of the land that was used for farmland, housing or industry in the past several centuries. But actually the two needs between human and animals need not always be mutually exclusive. If, however, forced to choose between the two needs, I strongly prefer to put the needs of endangered animals first.

It’s surely that animals disappeared won’t exist again any more. For example, in the early of American history, the early settlers in the east were encouraged by the government to move out west, to develop the land. In this process, the American buffalo which roamed the plains were naturally displaced, as the wild plains on which they lived and grazed gradually disappeared, used for housing and farmland. What a pity that a huge number of animals like the American buffalo disappeared that our offspring has no chance to see them. In addition, those animals which have been extinct or are going to be extinct are also precious materials for scientists to study the evolution of animals, including our human being.

However, human needs for land surely can be reduced only if we take some action such as to control the speed of population increasing. The family planning, in my motherland China, is a property example to support this view. Since the 80’s last century, the increase of population of China has been slowed in large extent because of the family planning. As a respond, the economy and environment both turned better in different degree, thanks to which, the increasing needs for land by human also slowed down. Many kinds of endangered animals were protected on their living land.

In conclusion, land for endangered animals is more important for human, as we can take actions to control our needs for land while endangered animals can’t. History has shown that endangered animals will be extinct together with the disappearance of their living land, that won’t exist again anymore.

文章结构还是比较清晰的。语句更为地道，用词比第七次作业有进步了哈~那个例子举得不错。但是要注意文章中出现的语法错误。另外我们一起努力积累词汇吧，小天的文章里有些词反复使用，下次要注意用synonym代替阿，比如land extinct…..
