按照各位观点,改了一下:
It is more important to use land for human need than to save land for endangered animals.
不同意。认为:为濒危动物留地重要。
理由:1. 为了人类的明天。生物链,缺一不可。
2. 留地给濒危动物可以让动物存活,以供科学家研究和教育后代保护环境。
I always think human beings are a little more selfish than other creatures living in this world. Why? Because most of time our human beings are more likely to consider ourselves, such as our requirements to use land. We always says that human needs land for development of our country and society, and even says that using land for us is more important than saving land for endangered animals. From my personal perspective, however, I totally disagree with this irresponsible saying. There are two reasons
Firstly, saving land for endangered animals is important for our human beings' future. As we know, all creatures living in this world is in a creature-chain and interacting with each other, and one creature can not independently live in the world without others. As a dominant creature in the world, and in order to satisfy our demanding and development, humans through population expansion, occupy many lands. The more land used by the human, the less land animals including endangered animal may use.
Without land to live in, more and more animals will become endangered, and endangered animals will be extinct. Then, other species which live upon these animals become endangered and extinct accordingly. Our world's natural balance will be finally broken. The irreversible loss of biodiversity has a fatal impact on the ability of humans to survive.
Can you imagine the final result? All animals in this world become endangered, and then become extinct, only human lives lonely in the world and die lonely. Some scientist even made a forecast that our world’s biodiversity will disappear within 300 hundred years if human beings do not consider other living species’ living conditions.
Secondly, those endangered animals are precious, not only for doing research about creature diversity, but also for educating human. If we save land for these endangered animals, our scientists will have more chances and time to study them. For example, through studying these animals’ special traits and their living habits, scientists will know how to keep the animals away from being endangered. Also, through saving a land for those endangered animals, we can take our children to see them, and let children know the importance of protecting animals. Taking panda as a good example, Chinese government saves land in Sichuan province to protect panda, a live fossil which has been lived in our world for more than 1,000 years. Although Panda is still an endangered animal, its amount has increased through government’s effort. Now, Chinese scientists can learn more about prehistoric animals through researching Panda, and Chinese people also learn more about the importance of animal protection.
I believe that through such a positive education way, our offspring will pay more attention to animal protection, and the chance that animal become endangered will become less. / B9 @! d/ q, c' D: ?- B0 f
Through my above analysis and considering the benefits mentioned, I think saving land for endangered animals is more important than using land for human need.
