People seldom reach an agreement when it comes to the problem that the countryside or a big city, which one is better for the growth of children. As far as I am concerned, the best answer should be given after a careful examination, since both of the choices have respective advantages.


Obviously, the countryside has a better and healthier environment than a big city does. Cleaner air, less noise, closer contact with the nature, all of these benefit children when they grow up not only for their health condition, but their character development. Some investigations show that people who grew up in countryside tend to possess an open-mind since their living environments are usually vast which contribute potentially for their positive attitude for life. On the contrary, people who grew up in metropolitan are always under great pressures on mental as well as physical situations.


However, the advantages of living in a big city are also appeal to people. Most parents who are always eager to cultivate their children to be outstanding persons would love to live in a big city. Because there are more qualified schools and excellent teacers than the surben areas, which means children will attain better education in a big city. And also, the advanced frastructures, such as public library, convinient networks, will broaden children's horizen when they are on the age of grasping knowledge.




Among all the factors I have shed light on, it will not go too far to say that where to live benefits more to children depend on different life stages of children, since their demands of growing are various according to their ages. Before they began their study life, to live in the countyside is better for their physical growth and character form, while if they move to big cities when they should recieve the school education, they will gain more for their rest of life.
