Nowaday, more and more students are required to learn some basic science knowledge. Do we need to study the science that even are not part of the field of our majors? Some people claim so, for the reason that people can deal with the affairs by means of the knowledge in our daily lives. So, in my opinion, it is better for undergraduates to acquire some basic science information which is out of our major fields.

    In the first place, the basic science is able to teach us to know about the lives as well as how to handle the events. Hardly can we study in our major classes but we do learn them from basic science classes. Take myself for example, I used to have no idea with computer programming . In the last summer, I took a programming class and began to place a premium on it. Also that is out of my field, however, I sticked to study it conscientious. Consequently, I flash my mobile phone, refresh the system of cell phone and change to another one just like install the system of computer, by myself. Now I pay nothing but promote my mobile's software. Knowledge is capabale of exchanging to money or some other valuable things. So unversity students should study some basic science which are not the part of their fields.

    In addition, the basic science knowledge also exert great influence on people's daily lives. As for individuals, it is important for them to learn these foundamental knowledge. For instance, one of my classmates always ranks 1 in my class but hr cannot even search some information or download music on the Internet. Exactly, he knows nothing about computer but only can get through some math problem. How do he survive in the society without those math problem? I concern that undergraduates should take some basic science class.

    To sum up, without those science knowledge students would not become a member of society. Thus, as for a college student, we should take some basic science class even they are not part of the field of study,shalln't we?
