Obviously,there were many impressive changes ,such as the globalization,population explosion ,global warm and outspace exploration,occuring among the 20th century.Surely,all of those changes are associated with everybody’s life.As far as I am concerned,it is the invent of Internet that should be remembered about the past century.As the development of computer science and the construction of World Wide Web,Internet influence people's communication pattern and erase physical barriers,force the society's productivity and provide brand-new entertainment.Undoubtedly,the Internet have made a profound change,positive or negative,in all aspects of  our society .


In the first place,people communicate with each other much more conveniently and frequently because the Interner can erase the physical barries.For instance,one of my intimate friends called Beatrice tends to furture her study in America,but she knows nearly nothing about the foreign country as well as the distant college.All she have to do in nowadays is just to open her computer,connect it to Internet,use the search engineer and click the mouse.However,things differs in fifty years ago.To get more reliable and complete details,she had better book boat ticket,pack her luggages,reserve the hotel and visit the college.What a intensive task!Maybe it sounds somewhat harsh,but it is true.frankly speaking,the wide use of Internet instead of tratitional vehicles provides an alternative to contact people from all different parts of the world.


Furthermore,the society's productivity has improved extremely owing to the pervasion of Internet.Actually,the new communication pattern offers numerous opportunities for people to contect.Deeper contaction leads to sweeping information sharing and effective source allocation.Take merchants for example,they can know more business information through the Internet.So they'd be more likely to  invest to the fields with  high profits and purchase materials in a low price.Otherwise,people are able to do a lot of things,such as shopping,paying tax and having a meeting totally at home through the Internet,so they can save their time and energy to focus on more important things.In this way,people use their time more effectively to lift the society's productivity.


Thirdly,Internet changes people's life thoroughly because of its colorful on-line entertainment.More and more adults prefer to entertain on the Inernet in order to escape from the high speed life and the overwhelming pressure.They play computer game to throw away their emotional luggage,or wacth on-line movie to kill time,or talk with intimate friends on the Internet about the problems they meet.Unfortunately,the Internet entertainment is so amazing that many teenagers addict to it.They abandon their schools and spend too much time on the Internet.In fact,this situation may weaken their social skills and cause serious psychological illnesses.



Above all,the invent of Internet,in my opinion,is the most extraodinary change in the past century.
