in my senior school time,i had dreamed studying in a perfect high shool, which could let students choose their own future and develop on their interest,so ,for this question, i will undoubtly agree that in a high school students should have choices to learn what they are interested in,and i will strengthen this as these following reasons.

firstly, when students are learning what they like, they will do it more hard and absorb knowledge much more effectively. there is one of my classmates as the positive instance. he is fond of reading historic stroies, and not only he studies hard on classes,but also he has bought dozens of books for spare time reading,so as a good result,he always gets a higher score than any other students.when schools allow students develop on different area,the student will harvest much on their interest.

secondly,allowing students developing on their interest does good in their life, and this is exactly according with the spirit of modern education. in now days, a lot of high schools only aim to train students to enroll in campuses,which really obstruct students future studying, it's hard to image that a student who is a exam machine can make big contribution to society,and also many truth have proved that a lot  poor skilled students fail to adapt campus' studying when they graduate from a high school only trains exam skills.

thirdly, to allow students learn what they want to learn gives benifit to find students' genious talent.every student has their good being,and we can only find these out through several times trying, for instance, in my little brother's high school, there are lots of art classes ,such as paino, oil painting ,dancing and so on, my little brother finally stead his efforts on oil painting because he thinks that he has great potential on it in contrast of other subject.

so, all in conclusion, to let students choose what they like does really  a lot of benifit.and it is a really great idea to liberate students from boring daily studying life.
