Languages, primarily served as vehicles for people’s ideas and feelings, have played an irreplaceable role in spreading and preserving the cultures behind. As the prevailing of a language will possibly lead to the prosperity of a certain culture, its decline and disappearance, on the other hand, may probably have a disastrous impact on the culture, and even the nation and the people, for languages are undoubtedly the foundation of culture and civilization, and sometimes, even the prerequisite of the existence of a people. Unfortunately, however, a great amount of languages spoken by minorities are facing the danger of extinction for various reasons. This grave condition has urgently called for the attention of the governments and their actions preventing the irreversible tragedy from happening.

According to the recent survey conducted by UNESCO, more than 2500 kinds of languages are in the severe danger of dying out, which account for one third of the total amount in the world. Compared by the data of 2001, the number has been multiplying, indicating the escalation and globalization of this problem. This appalling condition may be originated from the following factors. First, the globalization of commercial industry will inevitably lead to the unification of language for the convenience of communicating with people all over the world. However, this means the major languages will become more and more widely used while the minor ones are going to extinction silently. Second, the imbalance of economic development adds to the adversity of the languages using by few people in poor areas, for the languages used in developed areas will probably dominate the ones in the undeveloped at the time they come across with each other. A proving example is the prevailing of Cantonese in China since the Reform and Opening-up. This, to some extent, is like what happened during the war, that the invasion of territory is often accompanied by the invasion of the language and culture. What is worse, it seems that the youngsters have not realized the importance of employing and protecting their own languages, instead, they are turning to some other languages to seek a sense of fashion, authority or even dignity. Besides, the rapid advancement in technology provides us with multiple facilities to get in touch with universal languages, which means little opportunities for dialects.

With the pace of the modernization and globalization has become more rapidly, the danger of the less-known languages is seemingly inevitable, the trend irrepressible. But why should the governments take pains to protect them from disappearing?

The direct and most evident result may be the irredeemable loss of a unique culture, knowledge, conception and ideas it conveys. For the native speakers of the extinguished languages, it seems impossible for them to retrieve the sense of individual identity with the loss of languages. And the danger will become more severe when it comes to the future of the nation, as Johan Wolfgang von Goethe, one of the most famous poets in human history, once stated that “The decline of literature indicates the decline of a nation; the two keep in their downward tendency. In the terms of the whole world, the influence will be more significant and far-reaching. As linguists and anthropologists permanently loss this resource for revealing the process of language evolvement in human history, as a result, some mystery may remain unknown eternally, like the Maya mystery.

From my standpoint, it is high time for the government of the country laid enough emphases and offer sufficient financial support to prevent the nation’s precious heirlooms from missing in the irresistible trends of globalization. One practicable action is to establish museums and research centers to collect, preserve and study the documents of the language, in order to set up the languages documentation. However, the essential part of the languages persistence should be the revitalization process, for only the language is actively spoken by a considerable amount of people can it completely come out of danger and be resurrected. So it is of more significance to encourage the people especially the young to use their own language as much as possible.

As the treasures of all the human beings, every language is worthy protecting. This responsibility is largely rested on the shoulders’ of the governments, and it is also the obligation for everybody to prevent our culture-heritage from dying out.

Just suffer, but do not miss.

According to the recent survey conducted by UNESCO, more than 2500 kinds of languages are in the severe danger of dying out, which account for one third of the total amount in the world. Compared by (改成with?)the data of 2001, the number has been multiplying (or multiplied?), indicating (indicates?)the escalation and globalization of this problem. This appalling condition may be originated from the following factors. First, the globalization of commercial industry will inevitably lead to the unification of language for the convenience of communicating with people all over the world. However, this means the major languages will become more and more widely used while the minor ones are going to extinction(extinct) silently. Second, the imbalance of economic development adds to(aggravates) the adversity of the languages using by few people in poor areas, for the languages used in developed areas will probably dominate the ones in the undeveloped at the time they come across with each other. A proving example is the prevailing of Cantonese in China since the Reform and Opening-up. This, to some extent, is like what happened during the war, that the invasion of territory is often accompanied by the invasion of the language and culture. What is worse, it seems that the youngsters have not realized the importance of employing and protecting their own languages, instead, they are turning to some other languages to seek a sense of fashion, authority or even dignity(很新意). Besides, the rapid advancement in technology provides us with multiple facilities to get in touch with universal languages, which means little opportunities for dialects(道题目说的language是指dialects?

With the pace of the modernization and globalization has become(becoming,因为这是个with的伴随从句,可能用becoming好一点) more rapidly(这个应该是修饰modernization和globalization的吧,这俩是名词,不应该用副词rapidly来修饰,但如过改成rapid貌似也不太好,用obvious不知道怎么样), the danger of the less-known languages is seemingly inevitable, the trend is irrepressible. But why should the governments take pains to protect them from disappearing?

The direct and most evident result may be the irredeemable loss of a(去掉,因为后面的knowledge是不可数的。。。) unique cultures, knowledge, conceptions and ideas it conveys. For the native speakers of the extinguished languages, it seems impossible for them to retrieve the sense of individual identity with the loss of languages. And the danger will become more severe when it comes to the future of the nation, as Johan Wolfgang von Goethe, one of the most famous poets in human history, once stated that “The decline of literature indicates the decline of a nation; the two keep in their downward tendency“. In the(去掉) terms of the whole world, the influence will be more significant and far-reaching. As linguists and anthropologists permanently loss this resource for revealing the process of language evolvement in human history, as a result, some mystery may remain unknown eternally, like the Maya mystery.

From my standpoint, it is high time for the government of the country laid enough emphases and offer sufficient financial support to prevent the nation’s precious heirlooms from missing in the irresistible trends of globalization.

it is high time for(that) the government of the country laid(tolay) enough emphases and offer(offered) sufficient financial support toprevent the nation’s precious heirlooms from missing in the irresistible trendsof globalization. 我写这一句时是想用it is high time that……

Compared by (改成with?)the data of 2001, the number has been multiplying (or multiplied?), indicating (indicates?)the escalation and globalization of this problem.

As the prevailing【词用的真好】 of a language will possibly lead to the prosperity【好词】 of a certain culture, its decline and disappearance, on the other hand,(很地道)may probably have a disastrous impact on the culture, and even the nation and the people, for languages are undoubtedly the foundation of culture and civilization, and sometimes, even the prerequisite of the existence of a people.[shang1] Unfortunately, however, a great amount of languages spoken by minorities are facing the danger of extinction for various reasons. This grave condition has urgently called for the response(不知道这个词用着怎么样
RESPONSE MEANS MORE THAN attention) of the governments and their actions preventing the irreversible [shang2] tragedy from happening.

According to a[shang1] recent survey conducted by UNESCO, more than 2500 kinds of languages are in the severe danger of dying out[shang2] , which account for one third of the total amount in the world. Compared by the data of 2001, the number has been multiplying[shang3] , indicating the escalation and globalization of this problem.[shang4] This appalling condition may be originated from the following factors. First, the globalization of commercial industry will inevitably[shang5] lead to the unification of language for the convenience of communicating with people all over the world. However, this means the major languages will become more and more widely used while the minor ones [shang6] are going to extinction silently[shang7] .

[shang3]Multiplied or multiplying

With the pace of the modernization and globalization has become more rapidly, the danger of the less-known languages is seemingly inevitable, the trend irrepressible[shang1]
. But why should the governments take pains to protect them from disappearing?
[shang2]

The direct and most evident result may be the irredeemable loss of a unique culture, knowledge, conception and ideas it conveys. For the native speakers of the extinguished languages, it seems impossible for them to retrieve the sense of individual identity with the loss of languages. And the danger will become more severe when it comes to the future of the nation, as Johan Wolfgang von Goethe, one of the most famous poets in human history, once stated that “The decline of literature indicates the decline of a nation; the two keep in their downward tendency. In the terms of the whole world, the influence will be more significant and far-reaching. As linguists and anthropologists permanently loss this resource for revealing the process of language evolvement in human history, as a result, some mystery may remain unknown eternally[shang3]
, like the Maya mystery.
From my standpoint,[shang4]
it is high time for the government of the country laid enough emphases and offer sufficient financial support to prevent the nation’s precious heirlooms from missing in the irresistible trends of globalization. One practicable action is to establish museums and research centers to collect preserve and study the documents of the language, in order to set up the languages documentation.
This responsibility is largely rested on the shoulders’ of the governments[shang5]
, and it is also the obligation for everybody to prevent our culture-heritage from dying out.[shang6]

[shang1]Irresistible

[shang5]Why?

[shang6]Why?

===========================================

===========
It is (high) time that

It is (high) time that 后面的从句谓语动词要用过去式或用should加动词原形,但should不可省略。
It is time that the children went to bed.
It is high time that the children should go to bed.
===========

An irrepressible person is lively and energetic and never seems to be depressed.

If you describe something such as a desire or force as irresistible, you mean that it is so powerful that it makes you act in a certain way, and there is nothing you can do to prevent this.

If a change is irreversible, things cannot be changed back to the way they were before.
She could suffer irreversible brain damage if she is not treated within seven days...
