今天开始练习写作文了（背景：之前上过一个学术写作的课程，不过大部分内容都忘记了。）
现在又要开始挣扎着复习托福了，今天开始每天一篇写作文了。

求大家火力全开狠狠的批。。

1. Why people attend college?

People attend college or university for many different reasons (for example, new experiences, career preparation, increased knowledge). Why do you think people attend college or university?

Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Generally, senior high school can merely offer common academic courses, these course are very preliminary and fundamental as preparation and prerequisite for concomitant higher education program. After people graduated from senior high school, they may voluntarily choose straightly find job or enter into college or university for further study. People choose the latter have various reasons, nevertheless, some reasons are common, attending college or university will: prepare themselves, learn specialized knowledges and acquire degree; become more competitive in job market and be easier to succeed in career; expand scope, know more friends, participate activities, and so on so forth.

Firstly, higher education system has much higher diversity, they provide students with very specialized knowledge structure in the discipline. In college or university people can prepare themselves with specialized knowledge, for instance, literature, physics, chemistry, astronomy, mathematics, statistics, biology, botany, zoology, mariology, etc. Unlike the common courses in senior high school, each discipline of college or university has its own knowledge structure and specialized courses. Once people finished their course, they can receive degrees or diplomas as certificates.

Moreover, their learning experience with degree will make them more competitive in job market than others without degree. Usually, it is difficult to judge job candidates by first glance, thus, gauge is necessary for judging these candidates, a degree or equal certificate spontaneously is treated as a standard. Assume a case, one who graduated from an university with a degree in computer science, another has not a degree, how will the interview official judge the two candidates? Undoubtedly, the cheapest way is to choose the former.

Furthermore, attending college or university as well as benefits and fill in their experience, people from various places meet together, they have the opportunity to know each other and be friends, many colleges or universities also provide abundant activities, herein, their students have the opportunity to participate inside.

Thus, even though people without attending college or university also can make their success in life, in overall, people who attending college or university will be easier in their later life, the experience inevitably benefits their careers.
