关于在美国租房问题

本人研究生去Buffalo，现在在考虑的是租房子的事情。目前看到一款小house，其中有两间在阁楼，会便宜些。我想问一下，住在阁楼好不好？有没有相关经验的同学提供一下建议？有人说冬冷夏热，如果有暖气和中央空调可以解决这样的问题吗？谢谢啦
