Photonics Research Laboratory has graduate research assistant openings right now. Our research interests include: 1) nanophotonics and metamaterials, 2) Specialty optical fibers. Students with a bachelor degree or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics are encouraged to apply. Following areas of experiences are desired but not required:

•Experience with numerical simulation of electromagnetic problems
•Experience with experimental optics
•Coursework in optics, electromagnetics, and photonics
