Should those people in power in some realms step down after some time and how long should their tenure last long?The speaker asserts that in any profession,those in power should step down after five years and this is surest path to achieve revtalization.While I admit that there is a need that those leads should be replaced some time,but I wonder whether it is a must for any profession to follow this assertation and five years may not be appropriate for some certain realms.

To begin with,I admit that in some professions,especially in bussiness and politics,the replacement of their leaders is an essential procedure of their progress in the long run.If one leader reign on the place for too long,it may cause autocracy and his resources may be exhausted after such a long time,so he could not solve those problems in immanent.Nowadays,many nations are the democratic countries and all their leaders have their own tenures and after the time range of some certain years' tenure,they should step down and let others go to the "throne" or have some election to decide whether he has the ability to continue working in his position.The problems of "autocracy" can be solved by maintaining proper competitive mechanisms to enterprics,to the government,or other social groups,thus these groups can replenish with fresh blood and new leading ideologies,the most important thing is that it can prevent assertiveness and abuse of power,so that they can keep pace with the era more quickly and have the ability to confront with the intricate situation may come across.The elecion of president in America is a good example,every people have their own right to join the campaign and every one have the freedom to choose the leader they like most and once the leader become the president,he should try his best fulfill hope of the mass,otherwise he would lose his position after eight years' tenure.

However,in some realms,whether their leader needs to be changed in such a short time deserves reflection.For instance,Stevenjobs,CEO of the Apple conpany and one of the founders for the enterprices.His sense of innovation is so advanced that it can not be emulated by other competitors.When designing every product,Stevenjobs will participate personally and propose his own ideas and share with his team,thus become the momentom of Apple and make its leading role in the IT realm.Months ago,many iphone(a product of Apple) users were so cared about Stevenjobs's deteriorative physical conditions---for the reason that the leader of the company has a great influence on the industry over a long time and no one can substitute him.Luckily,Stevenjobs was able to pull himself through and continue made his contributions to the great company.So,from what I mentioned above,some important leaders can not be replaced in a short time and once they have stepped down,may be it would become a strike to the company and the whole enterprise.

So,how long the tenure span should be set for our leaders?May be we should regulate them according to the certain realms and five years may not be the best choice for sometime.For example,the captain of a expedition team needs to be a leader of rich experiences and have the ability to cope with those unpredicted situations in a calm mind.If we let a novice with a lot of theoretical knowledge to step on to the postion,it will be hard and dangerous for the whole team to pass through the windstrom.Also,I thing five years is a proper tenure in most cases of the business realm,longer terms would ossify the enterprice and shorter ones may creat instability.Moreover,if someone become a spirtual leader,it is impractical to demand him step down after five years and there is a need to let him stand in that improtant position and sustain the hearts of his people.
In sum,as Sir.Acton once said "Absolute power leads to absolute corruption"There is no flawless individual in this world,great success,fame and wealth are all enemies we should fight for thus we should always bear in mind that too long or too short time usually have counterproductive effects to success and an appropriate tenure should be set for a leader in each specific field.
