大家刚刚开始套磁都是收到这样的回复吗

昨晚发了一封信简单介绍了一下自己以及自己对该教授的研究领域感兴趣，今早收到回复：
Thank you very much for your interest to the research at my lab. We have been doing well in several directions and demonstrates a couple of the best results in the world.

Because you have good academic record, our university may accept you as a PhD student and offer you the scholarship even without “GRE” score. But a good GRE score will certainly help you secure the PhD scholarship.

If you have any more question, please feel free to ask me immediately.

我的情况是没有GRE，下个月准备考雅思，想问一下论坛的前辈们新加坡的教授有自己招生的权利吗，还有接下来我应该问什么比较好呢？

我也这么觉得，就是不知道该回复什么，也不清楚他的招生权限有多大

其实一般来说老师都不会把话说太满 他后面已经说了有GRE更好 所以你还是考一个~~~

这样看的话我收到的回复算是积极的了，那接下来是不是可以直接问他关于被accepted的可能性，或者是不是太直接了？

他肯定会说你先考GRE然后提交申请走正常的程序先。。。

有新回复（上面是我的问题，下面是他的回复）：
1. Is the application deadline for PHD programme(1st,Nov,2012) strict.
You should submit your application before the deadline.

2. Actually,I have the qualification enrollment without requiring entrance examinations in our university. If I apply nus,I must give up the qualification. That means if I apply and be rejected by nus , I must hunting jobs. This is not what I hope to be.  So, can you help me estimate the possibility I will be accepted roughly.
It is too early for me to provide a clear answer because the decision will be made by the university rather than by me. But if you really consider only the PhD program at my lab, I can strongly request the university to offer you the PhD scholarship. In that case the possibility will be very high. (I can just say “very high possibility”, because the final decision will be made by the university).

第一个跟没说一样。。。。submit先，成绩可以update上去，就算你现在只丢个成绩单过去，小米估计会在12月或者1月的时候问你要GRE、i的成绩。
不过看起来对你还是很感兴趣的，说了可以strongly request the university了。。
少年，好好考standard tests吧。。。以他的说法，你就算再牛逼，没有成绩都是浮云呀，他已经说得很明白了，made by NUS。
