LSE取消了两年的EME项目 (L1UT)？

今天收到LSE来信说：The Department of Economics has decided to withdraw the MSc Econometrics and Mathematical Economics (2-year) programme (L1UT) from 2016-17 onwards. This decision was taken after careful consideration by the Department and we are letting you know at the earliest possible opportunity so that you can consider your options.

感觉整个人都不好了。。。

想确认下这是委婉的拒信还是真的发生这么狗血的事情。。。。。。

it is quite obvious that they cancelled the 2 year EME entirely.

I have checked that they withdrew the programme afterwards but not so sure if they really did so after the application. It is so unconventional for them to make such a decision...

Anyway, I am so appalled that I do not know how to deal with it. I do not want to go to the other programme at all...Perhaps I should ask if they could give a refund or what? I just do not know...

Or perhaps I need some time to calm down...
