VO：You will study the Ph.D. program in architecture in Texas A&M?
ME: Pardon!（想问候一下的想法导致我走神，没听清第一句话，另外也是太谨慎了，
怕听错）
VO：You will study the Ph.D. program in architecture in Texas A&M?
ME: Yeah. I will pursue the Ph.D. program in architecture in Texas A&M.
VO：Why do you want to pursue a doctor's degree?
ME: 我在美国VBN建筑设计公司亚洲部工作了一年， I found that there are obstacles
that block the communication not only among architects, but also between
architects and clients. So I want to construct a system of objectively
selecting and judging architectural designs.（然后不想说了，就看着她，她就问
如下）
VO：Why do you choose Texas A&M?
ME: (先是语无伦次，用一句话过渡：Texas A&M，en , a good university ) Because
the College of Architecture at Texas A&M University is one of the top 10
design
schools in America, according to survey results published in the third and
latest edition of the *Almanac of Architecture & Design。What's more, my
future
advisor: Dr. **** is an expert in this field about my research. 她搞设计方法
方面的研究。
VO: What will you do after graduation?
ME: After getting my Ph.D. degree in architecture, I will come back to China
开始我的职业实践，首先我要尽快的通过考试成为一名注册建筑师，过一两年拿到资格证
以后，我会试着开我的建筑师事务所。
VO：你说你要搞研究，那你在清华没搞研究吗？（有些疑惑的问）
ME: （难道jfmm潜台词是说我在清华已经搞研究了，不用去美国了吗？我一听急了, 赶
紧把清华老师贬低了一番。指着她手里的CV, ）我在学校里做了两个校园的设计。我的中
国导师拉着我干活，不停的忙于项目，没时间搞研究。
VO：（她听完不说话了，就指着I-20问）上面说你的父亲要提供3021美元的证明，那么
ME: 我一听赶紧把准备好的财产证明、父母支持信、父母的工作证明交了上去
VO：她看了一会儿，接着说What does your father do?
ME: My father works in the Fifth People's Hospital in my hometown. He is the
dean of the pharmacy in the hospital.
VO: What's you father's salary a month?
ME: 我爸一月1400人民币，大约合200美元一月。
VO：那就是大约合2000美元一年，对于上学是太多了。（jfmm嘟囔着说出,我赶紧接着说
）
ME:我妈一月2200人民币，大约合300美元一月。（一看数字说的费劲，赶紧拿出算过的帐
）

ME: （我拿出发表的论文，嘟囔了一句：This is my paper published .）（我看她没
理我，就不说了，看着她悠闲的打字）
VO：（等了一会）Please go to window 10 to get you visa.
