phd要自費的就還是算了吧

另，建議樓主現實一點：

1.  英國說top10是無意義的，分界線不在那

2. 你要academi的話，就一早不該選fina and investment, 該找個學術和數學點的

3. 直接點說英國學校的2:2，用工作的角度看是不夠好但不會致命，但用申博的角度看，極爛。要找其他academic proof (gre gmat不算)
有心學術的建議申second master。

4. 忘了…………申finance phd? actually i doubt if any prof in us will heard of exeter…even warwick suffer somehow from this issue

most finace master accpet applicant from many displine.

and suggest you also try better school.

exeter is not a bad one for sure but definitly have better choice. it is not well regarded in apac as far as i know.

看你畢業後打算在哪裡找工作……

不過目測你這堆學校中，沒一家的商學院說得上牛或非常好，都是decent and good only (tier 2)
而留英的難度也是眾所周知的

拿去港/星用，不是top 6左右，倒不如直接去港/星讀當地的top program
人在當地，找工作和簽證好搞很多；跨洲找工作，還要不是當地人，CV很易進廢紙箱的

香港其实也在申请了，只是学校少，竞争大，就想英国 ...

fimance is a competitve industry
espeically when you are applying for a job in where you have no working visa

tier 2 isnot bad,  but just not good enough for this purpose

你最大的成本不是學費，而是機會成本：少了一年的收入，和一年的工作經驗
if tier 2 can open the door to the industry, it will be fine; but as far as i know, they dont have a decent chance, especially you want a door oversea, when mixed with the visa issue.

never been to shanghai so cannot speak for that
but as a hk ppl, what i can say is, seldom heard of those school
rae means nothing much unless you plan to go academic,
finance is a competitive industry, you need tier 1 (recuirtment target) in general to break into a good position in industry.

Some second tier is good and decent and still have some chances though smaller. Of course things will be easier if you dont mind a not that nice position / back home without visa issue.
But then should prefer some school with better reputaion in china. I doubt how much hr know reading aston  and etc in far east
after warwick, i will try cass, durham, edinburgh and etc… first.

P.S. 如果你學費咁手緊，建議三思英國留學。學費基本和名氣成正比(當然有outlier, e.g. Warwick msf, cambridge mphil fina…)，橫豎一年生活費加機會成本，學費相差一萬幾千磅沒你想像中的多。
