When Michael stops(Phelps) is out of the water, he toured nearly(towers over mere)  none Olympic models(mortals). Then he in(slips into) the pool and make records breaking speeds since this(seem effortless). His height, it turns out is not accident, according to research published in the general(journal) of experimental biology winning athlets are getting taller and more slender and yet heavier in conparerson(comparison) to the normal population.

Since 1900  the average person's height has gone up by about 2 inches, but winning swimmers are 4.5 inches taller than their old time contraparts(couterparts).

Researchers applied mathematical models of animal look motion(locomotion) to show why height gives some(them) a competitive advantage. Coachers have said in the past that swimmer should lift their bodies out of the water because air has less drag. But researchers showed that larger bodies fall faster and more forward in the water, and create a larger wave that helps push them ahead.

they also(The authors) suggest that in the future we might meet(need) weight classes for all sorts of sports not just boxing and racerling(wrestling). That might give one of the shorter guys a chance to win in(an) Olympic swimming event even with Michael (Phelps) in the race

you have heard of sychronize->synchronized swimming, but what about sychronize->synchronized  blinking. No it is not a new Olympic sport for slikers->slackers. It is something that seems to happen when we watch a video, because none of us want to miss the good parts.

If you stand to added->it up, humans spend a lot of time not looking. We blink every couple seconds which means we lose about six seconds remenit of->out of every minute of viewing time. So 10 percent of the time we have no visual information coming again->in. Yet we really->rarely notice this interruption of service.

That is because we tend to time of bind->our blinks so that we do not get left in the dark, or so says a report that in a role of genel ->in the Royal society journal biological sciences, 14 people watched a couple episodes  of Mr Bean, it turns out they all turn->tended to blink at the same moments, Just after Mr Bean finished doing someting stupid, or when the camera showed a long shot with nothing much going on. Such synqunize->synchronized   eye shot->shutting did not happen when the subjects watched a video of fish swimming around in the tink->a tank.

So when we need to pay attention, we keep our eyes open, and to->until we see what->whether Mr Bean gets through the->his holiday when peace->in one piece.

Remember digging genes in the doctor spatan,-> Dick and Jane and their dog Spot? May be you read about them in first grade. see spard->Spod run. Run spard->Spod run. Well a new study of->in the journal of scieological->psychological Science suggests that no only did you see spard->Spod run, but you run too. at least in your mide. Because reading about something turns on the same brain regions that control doing that thing.

For years scientists have suspected that our brains similar->simulate the activities that we read about. In behavioral studies people who are reading sport socoreof suffer go, we have->about scoring a soccer goal react more quickly we have->when asked to make a kicking motion then went to say paking hands->when told to, say, pat their hands . Now researchers view->have used real time bring technich->brain-imaging techniques to watch what happens when people read a story, 28 subjects took in tail->tales from a day in the life freement->of Raymond. A 7 year old boy who does things like get out of bed and sit through an English lesson, sure enought when rainman scorish a school guest->Raymond scurries to his school desk, readers->cells in the readers' brains that govern scurrying also spring to life.

Fortunately the cuppy->copycatting is confined to the brain, we do not actually add->act out the things we read about, if we did you would not want to see the->sit next one skiping in the paper->skimming the daily paper

Remember Dickens Jine(Dick and Jane? 还是寓言故事之类的?) and the (their) dog‘s bark (spot) may be (u) read about (them in) first grade .See bark (spot) run.Run bark (Spot) run.Well,a new study in the journal psychological sceinces(science) suggests that not only did u see bark(spot) run,but u ran too.Now listen(At least in囧。。。我也不知道为什么听成那个了) your mind, because reading about something turns out the same brain region(s) that control doing that thing. For years, scientists have suspected (that our) brain assimulate(simulate) the activities we read about. In behavior(al) study (studies) ,people who are reading about scorning a suffer(soccer) goal we act on (react more) quickly when asked (to) make a kicking motion then (than) when told to say paple hats(put their heads). Now researchers have used real time imagine(imagine) tech(techniques) to watch what happens(s) when people read a story .Twenty-eight subjuects took in tales for a dam(day in the) life of r….(Raymond),a seven new york (year old ) boy who does thing(s) like get out of bed and sip in(sit through an) English lesson.Surely(sure) enough when women(Raymond) scarey(scurries) to the(his) school lesson(desk,此处纯属搞笑) cellson(cells in) the readers’ braain that governing(govern scurrying) also brain(spring) to life.Fortunately, the copycanning(copycatting) is cnfined to the brain we don’t actually act doubted(out the thing) we read about. If we did,u would not want to sit next ….(to someone skimming the) daily paper.

。。连读!!!(react more、seven year old等等)

Anyone who's ever has->had a cat knows how demanding they can be. Let me out, let me in, give me food, give me different food, the least->list goes on. But how is->do these clever kitties convince us to do their bidding. A study of they should occur in->in the July 14 issue of Current(july 14的读法真雷人,of current听成一个词,说明连读需加强) biology suggests it is all in how they hell the(删) ask.

K worked in->Karen McComb of the University of sussex, started studying persuasive cat calls every->after realizing their->that her own pet used their->a hybrid between a pet->purr and a cry, to get a better->her out of bed(仍然连读?反正怎么都听不出来) in the morning. The comer->McComb got recordings of other cat calls, and back on land->in the lab she found that people->humans(此处就是people) thought pers->purrs  made by cats who were travelling to sneck->trying to solicit a nack were more urgent and less present and then ->pleasant than those made when kitty was say relaxing and so far-> on the sofa.

Turns on->out that the feed me pern were has->purr includes a high frequency component. Absent from the component->contented purr, that makes people one of->want to reach for a can al know but they just make a-> opener just to make fluffy's stop. It is obviousely part of->Master Plan (song) for World Domination....

Anyone who's (ever) had a cat knows how demanding they can be. Let me out, let me in, gimme food, gimme different food. The list goes on. But how do these clever kitties convince us to do their bidding? A study in the July 14th Visual(-->Issue) of Current Biology suggested(-->suggests) that it's all in how they ask.
Karen Malcome (-->McComb) of the University of the Sausex(-->Sussex) started studying pursuits of(-->persuasive) cat calls after realizing that her own pet used a hybrid between a pur(-->purr) and a cry to get (her out of) bed in the morning.
Malcome(-->McComb) got recordings of other cat calls and back in the lab, she found that people thought purs(-->purrs) made by cats who were trying to (solicit a snack) were more urgent and less pleasant than those (made when) kitty was ,say ,relaxing on the sofa.
