A: 最后的like in 1955，比较的逻辑关系模糊。是指“one in every four ”还是指全面全句。正确的：rather than one in every four in 1955.

B\C\D用法上都明显错误。

E:正确，用状语从句，清楚。

这题目挺难，难在D、E选项更换了语序。这种题目中，我的做法是先考虑没有变化的A、B、C，如果都有明显的错误再去看D、E。因为ETS不倾向于改变整句结构。A：逻辑关系为转折，所以连词“and”错。B：有think of....as, 没有think of... not as的用法，至少我没有见过。即便有，but 后面也应该加一个as。C正确。
